I have an L28, T3/T4 w/internal wastegate,HKS EVC-EZ, 370cc injectors, Electromotive, that was pretty well dialed - in before I went to a monster larger Intercooler, 550 cc injectors, and 3" exhaust from turbo outlet to tailpipe. Now I can't control boost very well - looks as if it tries to hold at a 12-15 psi setting before ramping up to almost 20 psi. Others have told me I should have sufficient wastegate control as-is to handle my setup. I've checked hoses, etc, bypassed the EVC and it still acts the same.
Is there something I've overlooked, or is it time for an external wastegate or bigger turbine housing? Thanks for any advice you can provide.
