i like my Ground Control's just not lovin the color of them.

Scottie-GNZ I think i should have around 400HP but we will see. I'm running it on a dyno to tune it, so i will know then. i was just going by stony's #'s, but he dose have bigger 680cc injectors. i think mine are around 440cc. stony's dyno slip and will it be hard to pull off a 1.80 60' with my 225 DR's? because 11.20 sec is how fast i would like to be, i think that is fast enough me.
-
So back to my question of how fast, what do you think the best 1/4 time a pro (like Scottie-GNZ)could pull off in my car. AS is , well when it is up and running? I would like to think mid 11 sec's? Am i out of wack to say that?

My fenders are not rolled, so how wide could i go? i will switch to 8" springs for more clearence. Bob H dont worry about the clutch, I'm in no rush. just got my areomotive 700hp fuel pump and filter. and ordered a the new HKS EVC. GNZ i had the tires and rims on my girl's 02 civic, and the DR's were better in the wet than the stock tires that came with the car. seriously.

yes you could get it 4000$ U.S. good deals up here, if i could find a LSD diff here in Winnipeg it would cost me 40$ U.S, and i have come close two times it was just the wrong year 86 and a 85.

I'm so use to 4x4 tires, like 36x14.5 will fit good on a 10" or 12" wide wheel. But I'm lost when it comes to sports cars (my first car is this Z, only had lifted trucks before and this one now in the photo) so a 245 will fit nice on a 7" rim?

people who do chrome can also remove it, i think they just reverse polarity.

Will BFG g-force drag radials 225/45 R17 and a RB26 pushing 400HP at the tires be a problem at the track, I'm shooting for low 11 sec 1/4's for now, is it going to be possible? That is if they let me on the track with no door handles? here is some info on the car 1973 240Z (-) = I have (*) = I want / need motor - R33 RB26DETT - 3†stainless exhaust with Dynomax Ultra flow muffler - Stock fuel tank modified - Apexi GTR intercooler (on back order) - Areomotive 700hp coffee grinder / fuel pump - SDS computer - HKS boost controller - HKS blow off valve * two K&N filter transmission - GTS-T 5 speed - quick shifter - O.S clutch diff * LSD r200 * ZXT CV’s body - House of color “Kandy Organic Green†- shaved marker lights and door handles - tint - Xenon air dam interior - Momo steering wheel - Momo shift knob / boot - laser cut aluminum fan / vent / heat / five 2-1/8 gauge panel -/* Auto meter gauges ten of them (I only have a air/fuel and exhaust temp at the present time) - Viper alarm * roll bar * Corbeau seats / belts wheels / suspension / brakes - Motegi MR7 17x7 wheels - BFG g-force drag radials 225/45 R17 - Ground Control coil overs - Tokico 5-ways - Energy suspension bushings - SCCA rear 240sx /300zx rear brake kit www.rb26dett.freeservers.com

Thanks for all the complements zpeedrazer looks like we have some of the same parts, gauge consol , SDS computer, Apexi intercooler but mine is for a GTR. Nice work, trade me motors? I don’t know? It would be nice to be finished. ON3GO all my prices are in Canadian so you can X it by 0.65 to see what it is in US dollars. But for the paint job, my buddy is the owner of the shop it was done at. But the paint was 1200$ (house of kolor = big $$$), soda blasting was 500$ and i gave my buddy 1000$, but it should have been a lot more. Bob H what kind of gearbox mount are you going for? My next step is to pull out the motor and paint the motor bay i think I’m going to go black, then run the gas lines, on my photos you can see the start of my gas tank mods.

the parts are from this guy dfbuq103@kcc.zaq.ne.jp for the fuel gauge i think you use the ford one? do not have mine yet i'm using ultra-lite
-
The parts I got from a guy named Bernard in Japan, same guy as Bob H. No ZG flares for me all steel if I ever do any thing i will widen the stock fenders in order to fit wider tires. I just want to be able to pull a 11.2 or so ¼ mile. But I might be hard pressed to do so with 225 DR’s what do you guy’s think? Autometer gauges 1-tack 2-speedo 3-fuel level 4-fuel pressure 5-water temp 6-air / fuel 7-exhaust temp 8-boost 9-amp 10-oil

A little back ground for you guys who do not know my project. I have a 73 240Z and I’m in the middle of installing a RB26DETT with a GTS-T 5 speed. Here is where I am at. The transmission was touching the old mounting brackets in the tunnel, so I drilled out the spot welds and removed the old mounts, now I moved the motor so far back that the passenger side valve cover vent is now touching the hood catch on the fire wall. I will just dent in the hood catch bracket in order to clear the vent. Now with the motor in place I removed the front turbo and bolted my laser cut flanges to the block and stock 204Z rubber motor mounts. Then I bent up a coat hanger to get the angles and distance between the two plates, and then transferred that to 1.5x1.5 x .25 thick angle iron. And then tack welded the plates to the angle iron then removed them. Now I will take the mounts to my friend and get them TIG welded, sand blasted and painted with POR-15. Then reinstall them and start on the trans mission mount. But how to make that now?? I like the look of these ones that attach to the tunnel what do you guys think? The JTR one just bolts through the floor I don’t know if I like that too much? Scotty GNZ uses that type of mount. So i'm sure it holds up fine. Give me your input. Thanks. I can not figure out how to post pic’s but I can send some to you guys if you want, just let me know. and Scotty GNZ i do have frame connectors and planing a rollbar and corbeau seats and belts. and also have rear disks (240sx). so it should not be a death trap i hope. sorry was just reading one of your posts that you made a good point of not just doing the motor, think safety too.
