Hey does anyone know if 15x10 with a +1 offset on the rear will fit with a Tein suspension and flares? Tires should be no problem with 245/40 R15... Ereschkigal

I want to use the 280ZX drivetrain to apply rules, which I can't with the 240z drivetrain. In Germany we need an expertise/approval for every change we make on the cars. To use the wheels I want (with negative offset), I would need to pay 15.000$ for the expertise for the 240z and the expertise could say, I can't use them... Someone already made the expertise for the 280ZX but I can only use this expertise when I use the same parts as the 280ZX As I said, I have three possibilities: Stock 240Z drivetrain = max wheel offset is 0 + I can't attach these lovely ZG Flares because they would look stupid 280ZX drivetrain = max wheel offset -25 + flush with ZG Flares Stock 240z drivetrain and wheel offset -25 + ZG Flares = driving around illegally Miles thanks for the link. It says the 280ZX stub axle wont fit the 240z strut, but could be bored to the right diameter. <- Would be illegal too.

Thanks for reopening. What I read/found so far is the R200 swap and the CV axle swap but will the 280zx stub axle fit the 240z reat strut?

Hi I have searched quite a bit but maybe its just my bad English knowledge or I just don't fully understand it. Because of some stupid regulations (TÃœV - Germany) I need all moving parts of the 280zx rear drivetrain in my 1973 240z. Can you tell me what parts do I need and from which year to get that realized. R200 mustache bar from 280Z with R200 yoke (companion flange) from 280Z with R200 #how many bolts? R200 rear cover from 280Z or ZX with R200 2x 280ZX CV halfshafts 2x 280ZX stub axles 2x 280ZX stub axle companion flanges Does this work with the other parts of the 240z and am I missing something or is this everything? Hello people I'm sitting here and waiting to get my 240Z so I can't test it yet and I didn't want to open a new thread for the same question: Is it possible to get some meaty 15 inch wheels with the zg flares WITHOUT negative offset or spacers (> 0) ? => What size? The Z will get a new set of coilovers. I know they can't be flush but I'm looking for something decent.
