My room m8 just bought a 280 that was bought in an estate sale with a brand new cartech /mikuni system with a msd6 and turbo timer would this setup be better than a vq35 swap I want more h.p. but dont want to sacrifice torque any one actually used this system setup correctly?

I need help with my 73 240z, I have a z installed with billet lower control arms fully adjustable and t/c rods also fully adjustable My problem is after the alignment, the control arms are different lengths, 11.5 and 12.25 the smaller one gave me a -1.2 camber and the longer one i was only able to get a -1, it pulls to the right even with a laser alignment(the side with the longer arm) Are the stock control arms differnet length? The mechanic told me it seems like the crossmember needed to be moved over but it is not adjustable right to left on one side it is able to move forward and back a little Is there a way i'm not seeing to correct this problem the numbers for the alignment are Camber LEFT-1.1 RIGHT -1 Caster -4.5 BOTH SIDES Toe in .05 BOTH SIDES

I was wondering if the alignment numbers would be different for a 240z with 17 inch tires v.s. the 14 inch tires ive read numerous alignment posts but didnt see a 17 inch discussion doesnt mean its not there I just could not find it. Thanks for any help guys!

I have a problem during sway bar bushing install, the right sway bar bushings bolts were broke off in holes as well as one on the drivers side tapped drivers side no problem the passenger well ,while drilling it seemed the inner welded in bolts came off on the inside ,are they on a pltae welded to inside of frame? Has anyone had this situation and what did you do to fix problem ie; metal c bar welded to it? just drill through and run longer bolts??? any help would be greatly appreciated need to get finished for the convention

Hi, I am planning a vq35 swap into my 240z, the problem I came across this past weekend at the ZDAYZ is the fact that the a/c pump is right over sterring rack, has any one made a brace or figured out how to run the a/c. I was thinking maybe a pulley leading to the a/c compressor on an extension bracket? I'm moving to florida soon so a/c is gonna be very important

I have the p90 heads with solid and hydraulic lifters but it sounds like since you have the car at shop the head would be able to be rebuilt for less than a new onw w/shiping plus youll still have to have whatever head you buy resurfaced 40-60 bucks you can get your head rebuilt for under 200 gl tu
