The issue is that all the power for the headlights go through that switch; wiring relays for the headlights alleviates the problem.

What condition is the grand national in? How complete is the project? Where are you located? I have an '82 zxt with minimal rust (spots around fuel filler and license plate). It also has decent paint and a decent interior.

i like my 82zx tail lights. what i want to know is what models had the center amber/red light bar? and did those cars have different bumpers with recesses for the license plate? i have some ideas...
