Hi, I went through the same situation a couple weeks ago. I have a 1973 240z with a chevy 355 cu. in engine using 2000 vortec heads and JTR conversion plates. I went to Auto-Zone and bought the Edelbrock 14" Pro-Flo air filter part # 1221. This filter fits perfectly without any clearance issues. It has a drop base and the paper hope this helps filter is 3" tall,

Hello, I am thinking of putting a 1981 280zx turbo auto tranny in my 240z(203hp and 262 tq.) I have all the parts already. Is there a problem with the cross member that holds up the tranny in the 240z. What mods do I have to do to get this tranny install? Thanks, Kenny

HI, I enjoy reading all of your post. I just dynoed my 73 240zt for the first time and got 203hp and 262 tq. My boost level falls just like what you have experienced. What was your fix????? I have a very similar setup like yours ie, stock engine ,14psi,supra ic, diy mbc, stock f.pump, injectors,300zxt ecu and maf. I do not have a rrfpr. Thanks for any help,Kenny(L.A)
