    Hanns, yes all my excitement comes from loggin in to Hybridz...I am near the Fuji Speedway but have not been yet. Its more like Formula 1 racing and not drags. I cant wait to drive the Zs again. Good thing is that I am saving mucho bucks for the next engine replacement so I guess itll be fine in the end. Damn I gotta catch you guys (not likely) but would like to go solid 10s with out the juice. If I can learn more about turbos it may be an option... looks like alot of fun. Oh my BBZ has a simple engine cradle and fits without any cutting.

    Hey guys heres your chance for an LSD diff this guy gave this car to me to get rid of because he needs it moved out of his property the zoning guys are on him.

    Can anyone tell me what this unit is I think it is an R231 but I am not sure.

     

    What is an R231??? You mean R230 I think. Looks like a R200 LSD to me. The finned cover says a little about it.

    Congrats!! It costs nearly that for a 2JZGTE longblock here in the states!!

    As far as parts' date=' it depends on what you would want to use...

    Take that thing to the track over there and run it once for fun, just to see what it will do. Just remember to reset the ECU before you do though, just in case it has backed off a bunch of timing due to a poor tank of gas :-)[/quote']

    HAHA! Actually this car lot has alot of nice cars they get from Tokyo auctions. They have a nice RX7 newest type for only $3200, and ACURA for $3000 etc....Even a Supra for $3200. I wont strip it for 3 to 5 years but its an idea...

    Just got this car with 2JZ Turbo for $2000. Getting the inspection this week and then HAVE FUN!!! Man this car is sweet. One owner and only 77,000 KM!!! The car is 15 years old and immaculant. Im excited. Ill take more pics later, this was off the cell phone. The rims are nice too and new tires. What is a 2JZ and Turbo and intercooler with rear end axles tranny (AUTO) worth? I want to strip this car when I come back and ship all the parts back with me. Can somneone tell me what I will need from the engine etc? ZGAD?

    well i Got it to fire up for around 30 seconds then it just slowly died not sure whats going on has good spark turns over nicely and is getting fuel... any ideas?

     

    If its been sitting a long while prolly has water in the lines and or tank etc...drain the tank, blow out the fuel lines, replace the filter, clean out the pump etc and give her another go....IMHO

    I got under it this morning and took a good look at it, it will need a bit of work, but im pretty decent at welding, just don't have a welder. I may bring it to my old school one of these days and take a closer look. The thing that I don't need right now is the down time, so im just gonna sit on it for a few weeks till i bring in a bit of bank.

    Skyline Tail Light Panel Gtrs 2000

    I just located an old Skyline tail light panel. If anyone is interested let me know and Ill send you the EMail to inquire. Its a little spendy but worth it if you want to be rare in the tail. This is in Japan and the dealer said these are almost non existent anymore. I just bought one for me...thought Id put this out here before it goes to EBay. This is pretty much a direct bolt in. The mounting holes have to be redrilled in a few places. The ends, shape is the same as the S30 from what I remember. I used to have a tail light panel like this. Get it while it lasts. There were only two that could be found here and I got one of them...

    Taking Hyrbidz To The Top Of Mt Fuji

    Thanks guys..I figured it would be a special event and also help the site. HaHa Im gonna try to go up the Gotemba side or the Momma San and papa san trail, Im no fool! That Mt can be a bitch! 90 degrees on the bottom and 30 on top!!! Should be able to go in 5 or 6 hours and down in 3 or 4. Coming down is actually tougher I think because of the knees and continually braking. The soil is crushed volcanic ash. Keep the replies coming its gonna be fun!!!! Im still working out everyday and starting cardio Monday so I should be in good enough shape to knock it out and have fun doing it! Ill buy the flag next week too and get a pic of it. Then we can decide what we want to put on it...
