  1. It has very little ticking in the exhaust, no milky coolant,no coolant off that I can tell.I did a wet compression test this morning and the compression jumped to 55 psi a couple of times so im guessing bad rings. This will be the 3rd time I have had this head off and yes I have replaced the head gasket each time and the head bolts the last time.

  2. Ok my 76 280 is running ok but I found that 2 injectors (1,4) were not pulsing. I checked them with a node light and they are all working so I replaced the injectors that were bad no change. If I pull the plugs on the injectors that aren't pulsing while its running nothing happens but if I pull the others they make the engine have a rough idle.Any ideas?

  3. I may have seat rails from my 75 280z if the seats I order work ok. Will a window regulator from a 77 2+2 work if so I have one? I have 2 almost complete parts cars a 4 speed 76 280z and an automatic 77 280z 2+2.If my regulator in my 75 is ok I can sale the ones in the 76.

My second Summit Racing pump took a dump after being ran for week the first one got clogged with rust but this one just quit pumping the pump runs but it has no pressure.So I called the company and they told me to send it to them and they would warranty it but I think the pump was to much for my car and thats why it went out so when I get it back its for sale.Has anyone had problems out of these pumps?

  5. none of the lines ar clogged I have checked all of them I have tried 2 fuel pressure regulators and the same thing happens I even have a after market fpr. I have a ground wire that goes to the fuel pump that dont look so hot,so im redoing that.But I dont see how that could cause this problem unless its back feeding and causing the pump to work harder. The pump runs and gets voltage only when the engine is running. The voltage from the alternator is round 14.4 and with the headlights on about 13.8. Could the ecm cause this ??

Ok so my 76 280z fuel pressure is through the roof and Iv been scratching my head because I cant figure out what is causing the problem.Then my nephew set in the driver seat and started the car while I checking the fuel pressure,he desided to turn on the head light and the fuel pressure droped and idle smoothed out. So I had him turn the lights off an the fuel pressure spikes and then rough idle. The alternator puts out 14.2 volts and the battery voltage is 13.2. Any ideas?
