  1. I connected a inline fuel gauge up to my 76 280z l28e and found my fuel pressure at idle is 100 psi.I also noticed my return line had swollen. So I took the hose off of the tank and the fuel rail then blew air from the return line to the tank and junk came out of the lines so I hooked it all back up and no change the return line is still swelling. It sounds great when you first start it and no smoke but after a few min. It start loading up with fuel and it sound like it has a big cam in it and starts smoking bad. Could there be a blockage in the tank? What should I try? What does the fuel pressure need to be?Could it be the fuel pressure regulator?

  2. Has anyone seen the first episode of the show its great at the end of the show there is a 280z doing a power slide/ burnout its great.go to fxnetwork.com or find it on youtube.

  3. Ok, let me start over, I rebuilt the engine about a month ago, completey going through everything.I added a mallory unilite dizzy, mallory coil, and a header. When I first tried starting the engine it was not getting spark to the plug, but I was getting fuel to the injectors. After finding the wires that I needed to hook up to get spark, I found the injectors were not pulsing.I realised the blue wire that goes to the coil made the injectors pulse when hooked it to positive. After getting the engine to start it idled great but when I gave it throttle it ran extreamly rich, filling the whole shop with (fuel) smoke. I really need help, I dont really think the blue wire that goes to the coil needs to be on positive but it ran. Could the fuel pressure regulator be bad?Has anyone ever hooked a mallory dizzy to a 75 280z or later? If so I need to know what wires where used?I also need input thank you and sorry.
