I love most anything with old character. I am a senior at MTSU studying airport planning and design. Flying, wakeskating, cars and my year old German Shepherd named Nico. My girlfriend is alright too, she puts up with me well.

  1. Im far from local, but Tennessee would be astounded at the thought too. In my opinion, rather than paying local shops to do the work knowing that your budget is that high, why not buy someone else's z that was a funded shop build. to think i thought i went over board. If your doing the wiring yourself, and planning to pull your old harness out, then unwrap it and measure wire by wire to get the dimensions and colors of exactly what you see in your head. None-the-less, i am looking forward to your end product. Should be killer.

    Floor plugs

Maybe i am an idiot, but in the past year and a half, the only 4 inch holes i saw anywhere in my floor were rust. Either way, i like your style.
  3. I had pretty good luck before scrapping a zx with tons of useful bolts of all shapes and sizes (which saved me a ton). Differential, axles, and hubs, fuel pump, and like blue destiny said the guys on ratsun.net would love the front spindles. Really it depends on how cheap the s130's are and how creative your willing to get.
  4. I have come to the conclusion that when this build is finished, your thread and documentation needs to be compiled into a book and published. Your work is amazing, and could explain to even a woman, the proper way to assemble a 240z. Hope to see this in person one day!!
  5. Would triple webers with stubby horns make up the difference in inches?
  6. Waiting for inspiration ....... i mean updates! Cant wait to see this final product.
  7. I would say you could build your own intake out of one of those assortment of randomly shaped inter-cooler piping pieces and reducers . If it were me i would rout it to the pass side of the radiator where the original floor air vents passed through the rad support to the inner fender well. As for the Radiator, maybe retro-fit a radiator from another car with the inlet/outlet on opposite sides. A 240sx aluminium radiator is set up like that, but is like 2 inches to wide to sit between the frame rails, but another car might have an easier fit. All depends really on how much you want to spend.
  8. It has been a fun past two days. We painted the z Nissan canteen green.
  9. Here is my 1973 which is waiting for the semester to end so it can see some paint. I should have it back in 2 weeks, that is if all goes as planned. It has come a long way since i started last summer and my goal is to have it back together in a couple months. Fingers crossed!!
