Don't forget that breather line that's right at the top of the tank. I did my tank myself pretty easily. Worst part was installing it; when putting on the filler hose. While you're lying underneath it wrestling, you have to balance it on one knee with the other hand trying to get the rubber filler neck hose on! Just don't forget to install the top breather hose when it's time to install!

I'm in the middle of an RB conversion, and I'll be using an aftermarket computer but I've been told the sensor wheel has to be modified. I'm sure I have the CAS that can't be pulled apart. I've taken the cover off but there seems to be no way to get the wheel out! Anyone had fun stripping one of these?? I'm two steps away from throwing it out of a moving car....

Your alternator may be dead. Volts while running with lights on should be around 13.8 - 14.2 volts. Anything more or less means a dud regulator. Was it squealing when the volts were 14.7 or 12? usually when the alternator dies temporarily, the car runs off the battery, then if it starts charging again squeals because it puts a big load on your engine which makes the belt slip a bit. Then as the battery charges again, the squealing stops. I would quickly get the alternator checked before your battery goes flat and the car just stops dead! Was the battery light on?
