  1. Anyone got any 15s or 16s in similar wheels? Not a fan of mirror polished anything, especially wheels....
  2. Are they the same mesh as in the pictures? Same question for the slotted wheels...
  3. This is more of a feeler to see what they go for when I start getting the car stripped down... I have 2 of these: Possibly looking for 2 more... Would be interested in throwing in 1 mesh wheel (unsure of brand) as well if someone has this set and wants a spare, or maybe finding 3 (or 4) more of the mesh wheels. Not sure yet, just looking to see what prices may be, I may go with 15" wheels to clear 4Runner brakes though...
  4. You have an 86 according to your username? They're already widebody...
  5. Ok, that sums a lot of that up...lol. I paid $200 for it. Plan on replacing the frame, floor, and anything else rusted. Also, to the people I PMed about getting parts and never got back to after that, sorry! I've had a lot of crap going on in my life with school and such, so I got distracted from stuff.
  6. Try unplugging the fuel temp sensor, a Z31 will run fine with it unplugged but will run like crap with it plugged into a faulty fuel temp sensor Also, the MAF limp mode will not allow the car to rev over 2,000rpm. Usually difficulty starting and rich conditions are caused by a faulty Cylinder Head Temp. Sensor or CHTS sub-harness on the Z31. the MAF rarely ever goes bad, and the Z31 won't be extremely rich /w the o2 sensor unplugged (but it does stay in open loop).
  7. Thats ironic, because my name is Mike and I'm also on TST if by TST you mean TriStateTuners... If you end up getting a Z31, I have TONS of Z31 parts.
  8. Is that "much" REALLY needed in the REAR of an S30? How much power are you making?
  9. Z31 vented rotors are 5 lug only. Also, what would you do for an e-brake?
  10. My '86NA2T with NA springs and bilstein shocks was amazing at 150
  11. Long runners look badass, make a 2 piece intake manifold with 1 large collector, the ports on the other side tuned for torque have long runners going over the valve cover and bolting to the collector, essentially a 2 piece intake manifold. Get into it more and use the Variable Intake manifold setup (like newer Nissans) with butterfly valves on runners to essentially make the runners larger (or switch from short to long etc) at a certain RPM.
  12. To be fair it has brand new spark plugs too... But It doesnt matter to me, I bought it for a project, so thats what I've got. And as I said, I'm building a L28 for it.
  13. The car had antifreeze in it when I drained it, perhaps just old with broken down additives. I took the head off because I plan to clean it up and do some work to it and use it on my L28 (flat top pistons) Edit: also, I don't suspect the felpro gasket is the one that failed, but rather before and the PO just changed the headgasket more recently.
  14. I'm assuming this is from a blown HG, this engine had a failpro gasket when I took it apart. Its also sat for a while w/o an intake on it: The head: I'm building a L28 for the car though, so not a big deal.
  15. Could always go to a parts store and ask for a 280ZX fuel pump.
  16. Not entirely sure, I'm probably meeting with 1 tuff z this weekend, the issue is I'm in PA during the week days for school and only back in NY on the weekends.
  17. I'm interested in one of those too if we meet up this weekend
  18. I have a header, but I may contact you anyways 1 tuff Z, will send you a PM!
  19. This is basically where I'm at with my interior, so if anyone has anything you think I might be interested in LMK, I probably am I also need a intake manifold. BTW, I have the rest of the dash and the center console.
  20. I sent you a PM, but I think i'd rather have black... Other things I need: Door panels, door pulls, rear cover for spare tire, carpet, Intake manifold and carbs...
  21. No big deal anyways, I have a 70,000 mile L28 that runs great for it.
  22. I'm looking for pretty much whatever anyone has in the Upstate NY area (near Rochester) for a 260Z.
  23. Well, it was there. The cover is still there, I was checking all of the connectors and went to unplug it and the whole thing pulled out since the cover wasnt screwed onto it. More on my project, I hooked power up to it after going over all of the wiring and turned it over for a compression test...it has no compression except on 4 and 6, which 4 has 25psi and 6 has 50. After a wet test, 1-3 have 25psi, 4 had ~30, 5 had 25, and 6 went up to 80psi. I'd say it needs rings...
  24. So, I just bought a 260Z that I plan to restore: But I have no clue what this thing is, whatever it is the PO had a penny in it to make contact?!?:
