  1. If mine break I'll Need those , if I can't get them I'll can all the irs bs and go to a 9"
  2. I wonder why after market inner stubs are not available. ? I would get a set
  3. I would hate to have to start over , inhave a r230 and the 4 q45 axles and diff mount , but I don't want to do that , if the r200 comes out , a 9" is going in
  4. I think manual trans cars are really hard on parts , my car is a auto and the stock stubs have never broken , I do want to upgrade to the 39 spine white head axles , bought a diff from white head , he's a nice guy , the reason I want the white head stubs is because they are drilled for both 5 lug and 4 lug , where as Chequered flag is not . I am also worried about the axles that go into the diff as well , I am thinking about getting a set and having them cryoed if I any find aftermarket ones
  5. Yup , but it will set you back 1300$ , the big advantage is it bolts right in
  6. What about axles , how will those work on the short nose ?
  7. Any confirmation that it moves the wheel back 1"? I don't see that in any of the ttt information
  8. I need every inch I can get ...moving the tire back a inch should allow me to run a 28" tire right ? Who is this sunny ? I would like to know what set up he got because It sounds like I will be moving that direction pretty soon
  9. I need to do something to gaine more room for tires ...I'm even thinking about coil overs form techno toy , I know those would give me more clearance to go inward but I'm not sure how much and I don't want to mess up the way the suspension behaves now
  10. Where do you think I could find a set if flares for the rear ?
  11. I posted some pictures on the gen 1 chevy v8 section where it says show your ride or something ...you know , I didn't think to check the tire pressure all night ... I'll have to do that next time ...but I'm not one to come back with the same combo ...so I might wait until I get the trans brake and looser converter before I go again... Yeah it would be cool to have a fellow zcar lover as a next door neighbor
  12. I don't know the power rating , air pressure is at 15 psi , I need to do some burn outs to check burn out patten
  13. 15x 8 seems like it's too small for a 10" tire ...does it crown and wear the middle allot ? I have Craigar super lights they are 15x 7 I believe ...not sure the back spacing , I bought those wheels in 99 or 2000 , my car stays squatted but once I get past the treated 40 feet or so , it feels real soft ...had to pedal it on one pass , it still kept blowing the tires off in 2nd at 50mph so I just pulled it in high and cruised to a 8.60 @ 58mph
  14. If you could give me some details on what wheels and back spacing your buddy is using to get a 10" tire under there I would be grateful ...I'm running the hoosier quick time pro 26x9.5 ...it actually only had a 8" tread on it ...my 3rd is 1:1 and I'm not sure what my rpm was because the car was a hand full but I would guess 6 k-6500 ...I think a trans brake would help me shock the suspension into making the car hook harder...I was getting 1.63 60 foot times basically just snapping the throttle off the line at idle
  15. First pass ran a 7.1 @ 100 2nd pass 6.9@ 100 3rd was a mess 4 th and 5th about the same 7.0@ 100 ...traction is a problem at that track ...I'm thinking about doing a bolt on flare , bigger rim and tire , looser converter and a transbrake
  16. Heading to the 1/8th mile in San Diego tomorrow ...see how it runs ...fingers crossed for a mid 6 (traction permitting
  17. I have a turbo 400 trans with a 26" tire ....it will pretty much just be geared for the 1/8th since that's all there is around here ...I have different ratios to choose from if I ever fronton the 1/4 mile ...I have a 3.91 , , 4.11 and of course the 3.54 but that one is pretty much only good for freeway travel
  18. That's why I got the 4.60 gears ....I'll let we rip next Friday race day
  19. Only have 1/8 th mile are around here , but I'll post the times
  20. Sway bar is gone , no more rubbing , put a LSD diff from white head in my car , next stop the track then a bigger tire
  21. Yes they are as far in as they can go ...alignment groove is even all the way around , I put some paint on the cv joint where it was rubbing , I'll check it after the next road test , sway bar has gotta go , it's irritated me enough
  22. Sway bar is now bottoming out on the body due to the links being so long ....it's a drag car , ditching the sway bar now ,hopefully it doesn't affect cruising around on the street so much
