  1. Thanks fellas. I have the 280z up for sale now on Craigslist, it's got it's problems, I leave at the end of next month for deployment, and Mama told me I need to get a car with an automatic and a back seat. I have that, it's called my Celica, also on Craigslist now... I am weighing my options, but an automatic transmission and a backseat isn't one! Rejracer, I will check the S30 section out...
  2. Hey guys, I found a '71 shell for a decent price, and being in the People's Republic of California, my '77 has to pass smog... I know the 240 tub has a LOT of things different with my '77 280: Taillights, doors, dash, fuse box and wiring harness, suspension, and the hood and hatch. Would it be worthwhile to transplant what I can from the 280 (which has shot frame rails, and creaks like crazy, holy body flex!) to a 240? Thanks! KFD
  3. My '77 is having the exact same issues! I am going to test the relay as well and see if this will quell my Z's rough idle and misfire at normal operating temperature.
  4. Hey guys, I feel like a total speshul ed right now, but I can't for the life of me find the download for the EFI Bible! I looked in downloads, I remember seeing the thread where someone put a TON of search terms to make it easier, and it's not coming up for me... In other news, I think the thermotimer (?) switch or possibly the cold start solenoid/valve is acting up, '77 280z, running rich, yadda, yadda. I'm going to look at those, and clean/replace the injector connectors... Thanks! KFD
  5. I can't wait to see the final outcome on this car! It looks great!
  6. Man that stripe is really cool! It made me think of this: That is a V4M code side stripe, similar to the AAR 'Cuda Stripes from the same year. I am assuming those are Fairlady flares. Where can I get fender flares like that for the Zed? KFD
  7. I know that Shumacher Creative Services makes the motor mount adapters for slant six to V8 Mopars, but if the 318 mounts will fit in, DO THE 340!!!! Six Pack Manifold, purple cam, and call it a day! Now you I don't know if anyone else makes specialty brackets for the Mopar LA mills, but I would hit up shumy...My favorite mopar powerplant is the B 383, hands down. Later KFD
