Thanks, yeah I'm not to worried about it. I just need to get the right color sorted out and once the Z comes back from the body shop it'll be time to paint!

Yeah I was thinking of doing the white zero but I've seen a Z painted in a similar way so I decided to go with the green. But yeah man that would be sick!

Cool what branch? Yeah I was thinking about the white outline but I think it'll draw to much attention away from the rest of the car. I kinda like the lighter colors and I think the white would throw it off a bit.

See thats the funny thing I am a vet lol and I run vet plates so its all good. heres a pic of the scheme that I made on Forza4.

I dont want to do a gloss paint job yet and this is just a temporary paint scheme till I get the Z finished. Its an aweful brown color right now so instead of doing a really nice paint job and then get it all scratched and messed up while I work on it I want something simple that I dont really care to much about. And I think a Zero Scheme will be pretty cool and personally think it would look better flat.

So just bring the shop a picture of a Zero and tell them to match the color but make it flat?

Hey guys I've been looking on the internet and I cant seem to find the right color for what I want. Im going with a Mitsubishi Zero Fighter theme but I want to do the green scheme instead of the white one. So far the only color that I have found is Hot Rod Flatz Speed Green. Oh yeah I want to do the car flat not glossy. Anyone know of another company that does a flat greeen in a similar color to the Zero?

I Hate people who text and drive!! I dont know how many times ive almost been hit by people who are texting. The other day I was in my jeep and the person behind me was texting and driving and riding my a**. I tapped the brakes a few times and they kept texting so I proceded to apply the brakes a bit more firmly and they met the back of my jeep. Also my jeep is lifted 5 inches and sits on 33" tires so my trailer hitch went right into their hood They got out after we pulled over and asked me why I hit my brakes and I asked them why they were texting and riding my a**. After I said that they had no comment

Well I only drive the car in the summer and it should be getting a full overhaul this winter anyways. I put it in storage for the winter so she only sees nice weather

Im also doing a WWII theme on my Z and as cool as that looks after a while I dont think you would enjoy it. Ive drove cars with open headers and after a while it get really annoying because of how loud it is. Also this exhaust would be pushing all that sound and fumes right into your face lol. But if you want to do it maybe you could go under the brake cylinder and then into the fender and up and out. But this might cause turning clearance issues. But all in all that looks pretty BA lol.

I pulled out my fuel tank and cleaned the whole fuel system. Shes running alot better now and will be running even better once I install the new round top carbs I just picked up

Well I pulled the tank out and it was full of rust. I cleaned it and put it back together and installed a new filter and so far so good!

I got some today for super cheap but thanks anyways!

Well I went to go replace my pump and filter today and i found a good amount of rust sitting in the bottom of my filter . Looks like im going to be ripping out my tank and cleaning it and blowing out my fuel lines. Not to happy about this cause I just put about 30 bucks worth of 93 in it!!!

Im looking for some round top S.U. carburetors for my 73 240Z. I have 4 bolt flat tops right now and want to replace them with the better round tops. Im not sure what to pay for them so if you have some PM me and we'll go from there. I have PayPal also to make it easier. Thanks.

Yeah thats the last thing I want to do is rip out all my fuel line haha. Im installing the new pump and filter today so we'll see what happens.

I thought about a clogged fuel line but if it was wouldnt it stay clogged? I say this because the car will start and run but after driving it for a little while it starts running crappy and then dies, and this is way after it gets up to running temp.

A new fuel pump and a new fuel filter have been ordered and should be here on wednesday. Can you guys think of anything else it might be that I can look into while I wait on the parts?

Thats weird cause the fuel filter is new. But they are cheap enough so i'll get another one and a new pump.

Well drove it again today and it was running fine for a while and then it started running like crap again and then died on me. And if it was vapor lock wouldn't it happen all the time? I'm thinking its defiantly has something to do with the fuel system but i'm not sure what part. Do you think the a bad fuel pump could do this? I would much rather fix this myself but its getting to the point were I might bring it to a shop.

Ok a bit of an update. This afternoon I went to mess with the Z and it fired right up and ran fine. Still a bit worried though. What do you guys think about that?

Ive been running 93 in the car for about a few months now so I dont think thats the problem. Also it has a brand new fuel filter in it. It just weirds me out that it was working fine all week and then it craps out all of a sudden.

Ok so i was on my way home from work in my 240Z and it was running fine but for no apparent reason it started to sputter and run crappy. I limped it for a few miles while it was running really crappy but then it started backfiring when i shifted and losing power and wouldn't gain any power no matter how much throttle i gave it. After a while I pulled over and I couldn't get it fired back up. Its the stock 2.4, I was thinking maybe I got some bad gas? I filled her up yesterday at shell with 93. What do you guys think? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
