    Ok so i gave my dad my 280Z a while back and he decide to pull the motor and put in a 500hp stroked 388.... so now he wants to make a frame for it. he plans on making one from scratch that holds everything by itself and then drop the body on top. has this been done? i tried searching but couldnt find anything. is there a frame out there that fits the 280z? any info would be great.

    hey guys i was wondering my buddy is a big international scout guy and he said that the scout came with the option of a nissan inline 6 that was diesel do you think its an LD28?? and do you think i could use that crank??

    yeah that sounds good i'll check that tomorrow, also today when i tried to start it it didnt want to start at all. it was trying to start but it sounded like it wasnt getting ehough power but the starter, battery, and battery terminals are brand new so i dont know what to look at.

    yeah i checked the cold start injector and its fine but i talked to my dad and he said it sounds like a fuel problem so im gonna check the fuel pump and go more in depth with the fuel system.

    I checked the air regulator and its fine im gonna try and check the alternator next.

    hey guys im having a hard time keeping my Z running, its a 1975 280z. ever since one day when it was really cold she wont stay running unless i keep the throttle open a little, ive checked my EFI and it seems ok and ive look at my plugs and wires and the timing is in and ive checked the seals on the valve cover, injectors, and oil filler cap. im running out of ideas any help would be much appreciated.

    hey guys im lookin at gettin some konig imagine wheels that are 17X7's and im havin a hard time finding the right tire to fit them. I've looked around this forum and have found some stuff but no actual tire size. any ideas?

    im also having a problem with my heat (dont care about A/C thats what windows are for ). the motor comes on but just makes alot of noise and no air comes out any ideas?

    i have an L28 in my 280 that is N/A but its already bored i was hopping to use that engine and just take the parts from a turbo engine and use them on it. Is there any problem with that? or should i just get a the turbo engine and start over.

    hey guys i was just wonderin if anyone has ever done a auto-manual swap i have a 1975 280z and its auto right now and i wanna put in a manual. I was also thinkin a 6-speed would be cool but i dunno. how much of a pain is it to do and is it cost effective for me to do it by myself or should i just take it to a shop. thx guys
