Better yet, rabies.

Very cool, nicely done. Does the original Z dash fit well? Or would you have to order a fiberglass dash and then cut-to-fit?

I'm not sure if Longchamp XR4s come in 9.5" width, I think the widest Longchamp made them in was 7.5". That being said you can definitely buy some 6.5Js or 7.5Js and have a shop widen them to 9.5". I think that's what Kenny Seo did on his 240z (before he sold it). GL;HF

Don't get a 3-point retractable from seatbelt planet, I order their kit and it did not work with my 240z. (Tensioner didn't have enough strength to work properly)

Hi all, Would like to buy a set of 280z Tokico HP springs (5022) for my 240z. Preferably uncut/unused but I'm pretty open to whatever you got. Rates -Front: 185lbs/in -Rear: 200lbs/in

Yeah I've seen threads on those, very tempting considering their price. However I would be cutting a lot of coils to achieve the ride height I want (which would also result in a spring rate too high for the Illumina shocks).

Hi, if anyone has a set of these (preferably uncut) let me know, found out Dave doesn't make these anymore!

Hi all, I'm tackling suspension and chosen to go with a coil-over conversion. I've looked into companies such as Stance, BC Racing, Ground Control, and Arizona Z Car. I notice that a big selling points for some of these companies is the inverted strut design they use for their shocks. From my research I've pulled the following pros and cons to inverted struts. Pros: -Shock is less prone to leaking -Shock body (sort of) acts as a suspension arm (in the MacPherson Strut design) -Even compression within the shock -Lower temperature of shock oil during compression Cons: -Clunking (a lot of Subaru guys get this, is it just an OEM shock thing?) -Cost -Adjusting the stiffness of rebound/compression is less convenient Because I don't foresee myself ever using stickier rubber than street-able r-comps (think Advan A048) and considering my car is my daily (I go to Laguna Seca twice or three times a month), would it be wiser to go the DIY Ground Control conversion route or would it be worth it to drop ~1500 dollars on Stance/Arizona Z Car coil overs? Thanks, Liam

Hi all, Over the past few months I've came across a few disc brake setups for the 240z-280z chassis using AP Racing components. I've tried to investigate these setups so I could share some information about them and perhaps use them, however, my efforts have been futile. If anybody has any information or guides on how to build one of these setups I would love to hear about it. Here are some pictures from D.S.G. Sweeden's build. (There was one more member on here who had AP Racing Brakes but I couldn't get a hold of him) Liam

Twin cam head for the L6 from Derek at Datsunworks

If the improved flow and design of your DOHC make some good numbers I'm definitely in. Guess I'd have to take out my ecoboost. -

Definitely make a write up on that coil-over setup when you can! Love to see it! -
Alright thanks, I'll check them out. Yes I know, I bought 39 Spline Stub Axles, CV Adapters and the Companion Flange from you. Will this allow me to use 300zx NA CV axles which are more common?

Hi, I'm currently embarking on a diff project (not exactly by choice) and so far I have all my parts (Adapters from M2, Diff from Whitehead) and I am currently stuck at finding Z31 Turbo Axles. I've tried Rock Auto several times but they never have them in stock (when they do its a lie). I also tried my local CL and eBay as well as a few members here on HybridZ, NicoClub, and ClassicZCar. If this goes against any Forum rules, I apologize but I've tried mainly through Parts Wanted threads and private messaging AS WELL AS THE SEARCH BUTTON and I'm not to sure where to go now. If anyone has information on where to find Z31 Turbo axles please let me know. Better yet, if you are selling them, please let me know. Thank you, Liam

Is there a difference? Just 4 bolt 300ZX Turbo (Z31) Turbo Axles. -
WTB: Z31T (300zx Turbo) CV Axle Assembly
baby_Carlton replied to baby_Carlton's topic in Parts Wanted
I don't think I can, I'm using Chequered Racing 39 spline stub axles, companion flange and CV adapter. But thanks anyway! I'm located in the Bay Area (San Francisco, San Jose, etc.) Email sent. -
I would like to purchase some CV Axles for my R200 swap, if you have any, let me know! I would prefer good condition.

I was looking into these! How do they compare to GC Coilovers? What spring rates work bet with this kit in your opinion? How's the installation? -
As the title reads I am looking to purchase an R200 Torsen/Gleason Limited Slip Differential. Ratios Im looking for are mainly: 3.7:1 and 4:11:1 But I am more than willing to look at alternate final drive ratios. Cheers HybridZ.
