  1. Aluminum is light enough... and cheap

C/F would be a waste of money unless you are a serious hardcore racer.... and i mean SERIOUS!

keep in mind the intercooler will weigh alot..

save weight with a C/F hood, and plexiglass windows.. and you will be happy.

  2. Anti-Lag systems or the Rally Bang Bang system do the following :

When the throttle is closed, an idle speed control valve opens up right next to the throttle body. The extra air is let into the intake manifold, and a bunch of fuel is dumped into the cylinders.

When the ECU detects that the throttle is closed, it instantly retards the timing to a point sooo retarted.. that the mixture is ignited WHILE the exhuast valve is still open.

This results in an explosion which forces the turbocharger to still spin.

  3. here's my problem..

with the stock L28 HANDLE 18psi very well??!

I have MSnS so I have good fuel management and timing.. BUT.. can the motor handle it?!

I am afraid of turning up the boost to even 14psi.. hell the headgasket could blow or pistons could go right through the block>?!

  4. Austin,

I have a Ford Taurus fan inbetween my NPR intercooler and the radiator...

soo it SUCKS air into the intercooler, and BLOWS it through the radiator.

i know u have dual 10" fans behind the radiator.. i know they can pull alot of air THROUGH the radiator, but I don't know about the intercooler..

obviously when AutoX'ng you dont go fast for very long which would throw alot of air through the intercooler.. soo

i would recommend moving those 10" fans behind the intercooler, and in front of the radiator unless you wanna run two (sets) of fans..

with the Ford Taurus fan .. I bought for $5.00 at the junkyard, my Intake Air Temperature has never been above 30 degrees above the ambient air temp.. so on a 95 degree day in good ol Colorado by intake air temps would be around 120 degree's at 10psi.
