  1. Will a 15 x 7 with a -9mm offset have any rubbing. Will this be flush with the wheel well or stickout or in too much? Thanks

  4. Ok my problem. The other day my battery died. It was almost dead low on water so I filled the battery up charged it and everything is great, fired right up. I take the z to work which is all highway. I have a mile to the hwy and it's running fine reving as high as I want it to rev. Get on the hwy cruising at 60-65 reving and running fine for about 3 miles. Then all of a sudden it just dogs down. I have the peddle to the floor and it won't rev higher than around 2000rpm and my speed drops down to like 25-30 mph on the hwy . I take the next exit and after a minute I can get on it again reving it as high as I want to not loosing any power. Coming home it did the same thing. One thing I noticed was the headlight dimmed when this happened. The guy I bought it from put an electic feul pump in. Is it the pump, battery, carbs, or wiring? I am lost.
  5. How complicated is it to match a corvette LS1 engine up with a f-body T56? Do I have to get involved with wiring or the ECU? What parts are needed? Thanks

  7. If this is going to be for a street car you might not be able to use your wipers. I use to own a 944 that cracked it's windshield. Mad expensive to replace so I looked into lexan. A company that made them said it was for race only. Yeah Yeah I have a bunch of parts on my car that are race only big deal. Well after talking to him he said that the lexan will scrach when you use your wipers. This is why race car drivers use rainx and antifog stuff. This is what he said just passing it along. Don't know how true it is. Just want to make sure you look into it before you buy. I ended up going with lexan quaters and hatch and kept the doors and windshield glass which worked out good for a street car.
  8. I don't own a z yet but from looking at them is the roof and both quarter panels all one piece? Where would you attach the roof skin in the back so no seems would be seen? I don't know maybe I'll just keep looking until I find a hardtop.
  9. I have been looking for a clean 240z and finally found one but it has a sunroof which I don't care for at all. This is to be a autox/track car and really want a hardtop. So how hard is it to convert a sunroof car to a hardtop car the right way? Thanks.

  11. I am going to look at a 240z and would like some advice on what to look for when looking for rust and rot. What areas are most likley to have rust? How can I spot bondo? Do I need to bring any special tools to find rust? Also the car is in primer, is that a good or bad sign? Thanks.
