  1. Im not sure if there are differences between turbo and non turbo engine harness? I have an '83 L28 turbo that I need a wiring harness for. If anyone has one shoot me a price. Zip for shipping would be 50035. Thanks, A.J.
  2. I also had this happen today. I couldn't get site to load at all. Multiple times throughout the day. Today only; Now workin great though.
  3. Nice Score Yasin..If for some reason it ended up a donor. (Although it's way too clean for that) Hit me up
  4. I'm 24 and have been a Jeep owner and Tech since I was 16. I finally decided the 13 mpg that the 5.9 Limited got was not good enough. I found a Volkswagen Corrado VR6 and got a loan and went to buy it. I got there and we went to test drive the car and I got it onto the highway (it was dusk) and about as I got it to 50 mph a deer ran out in front of the car out of the ditch and the Corrado was totalled; before I agreed to buy it. Long(er) story short my insurance paid for the car and I was sitting on $3G's from the loan. I had always liked Z cars and a friend of mine had a Z31. I found a 73 240z L28et north of Chicago http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=140574&highlight=lovethedrift (he advertised it here too) on craigslist and went to check it out. He was asking 5K and I got it for less than half of that. Unfortunatally I live in Iowa and cant drive it for a while. I found a 72 with a 350 in it on Ebay and scored it for parts for $185!!! It's got bumpers, steering wheel, interior, rear window louver... Went and picked it up Sunday. I stumbled into the Z world by chance and am loving every minute of it.
  5. Yes, Zep did redo some old blues standards and took credit. Not right to do but, there weren't really copyright laws back then. It was pretty accepted. Im sure the people credited for doing it before Zep took it from someone else. Thats how music was back then; especially blues. The same thing happens to this day with jazz and nobody cares. Half of jazz is old Miles Davis tunes. They call them standards because everyone plays them. No offense but the listed songs for metallica is far from old material. Their old tunes were actually good. Led Zeppelin was one of the greatest rock bands of all time. (Im not even a big fan; just a musicologist if you will) Their contributions to rock are heard everyday. If you dug around you'd find out that this is REALLY common. Especially back in the day. Which brings me to one of my favorite quotes. "The Best Musicians are Thieves Who Haven't Been Caught." So Zep kicks a##!
  6. Do the center caps say "charriot" or something close to that on them? Do you have all 4 on your car?
  7. I did the same thing except it was chrysler specific. I got a job at a Jeep dealer when I started the program and worked there for 4 years as a tech. Then went to a Dodge dealer for a year. It makes getting a job a lot easier. It also gives you electrical knowledge that will save you months of time and headaches. It's easy stuff if you understand it all. If you can stick with it man; id suggest it...best of luck
  8. Cool car. I'll be enjoying your old exhaust. I'll throw up some pics when i get it on my 240.
