  1. Those wheels would be made by racing hart. They are hella expensive, but i think you can get em made in custom offest. They are they Type C2 perhaps. Look on yahoo for the dazz motorsports webpage and they can be found there! Z on people- Evan
  2. Check this out guys! http://www.students.tut.fi/~eppu/dev/EGO-bar.html
  3. Dynamat is great stuff! I used it in my 240 last year. Its in the rear mostly and under the headliner. My car doesnt ring anymore! WOO HOO. I have yet to do the doors. You can also put some near the lock in the hatch under that innterior panel. I put some in there because the lock rattled from my stereo. Evan PS i cant reccomend this mod enough!
  4. Pete, thanks for the help. The reason i asked is because i saw you had done that in the archives. I was under the mistaken assumption that that was your permanent fix LOL. I may do the same thing that you did. I dont plan on shortening strut tubes, i just want everything to work as advertized i guess. I think your idea is good, i may do just that to test out the hieght etc... my car has no motor in it right now but i think your "testing" is a good idea, regardless of the fact that there is an extra step involved. If anyone cares, my car is a 240 that is undergoing a zxt transplant. The motors taking for friggin ever, hope its worth the time and money! Thanks- Evan PS... anyone else have any thoughts or ideas?
  5. Hey guys, just wanted some advice on installing my coilovers. Im going to do it over thanksgiving. I am going to run 17x8 rims with my coilovers. I run custom adapters so i can get whatever thickness i need. The question is where i need to weld the perch on. I have the instructions but are they going to work okay for me? I dont remember what freelength the springs are, all the parts are at home unfortunately.. I just wanted to know if i can follow the instructions as to where to weld on the collars. Thanks guys, if you need more info ill call home and get it. Evan
  6. hey thanks for the conversion.. i was a little worried and wondered why there was nothing availble for 1/2 inch Evan
  7. Hello everyone, i have been reading though this forum for the last week or so and learning an immense amount. Its nice to find a forum without so much newbie stuff and repeats, i have found some truely useful information. I have some questiions about my L6 turbo that i am currently building. First, this is regarding the turbo oil supply line. Am i better off using the stock hard line? or go with a braided setup? Also, i am unfamiliar with the AN fittings. I need to put them on my .5" fuel lines and am not sure what to order so if someone can provide me with "adaptation" info i would greatly apreciate it. Thanks for everyones help- Evan OH, ill tell you guys what im doing for some short background information. I am using forged pistons, SDS, turbonetics hybrid turbo, 60mm throttle body, NPR intercooler, 3" DP and exhaust system, 420cc injectors and then the rest is pretty mundane. My hp goals are relatively small... 350 hp or so. Carlos at racetech says this is achieveable. If anyone else has any good info to add please do! ------------------
  8. YIKES... there is no such thing as a -7 an! ahhhhh What should i do? I guess i could just flare the ends and slip on the fuel line, then hoseclamp it on. I would rather do the AN fittings but its not lookin like an option at this point. OH, scottie can you bug carlos to send out my SDS?? Im lookin forward to seeing this thing and would like to get it wired in before my motors done in the machine shop. Thanks again dude= Evan
  9. Hey thanks for that bit of info scottie. Thats helpful so i assume a -7 AN is half inch eh' Dude, carlos told me that 420 injectors will be too small for my application !? Is this true, I did some calculations and thought that they would be just fine for what im looking to do... I dont know if you didnt notice, or forgot to answer, but what is your thought on the oil supply line on the turbo? Thanks alot- Evan
