Great guys, I dicided to wait on this, Since most of you would just use the dash cap or rebuild it,I will do one of either on a future. Hey Joey, My car is @ the paintshop right now,It should be out of there this saturday hopefully.After that its Mike's call.We agreed to start by the second week on november. I would like to know if you are going to have the driveshaft made.I am interested in buying one,So let me know details on the payment.I have most of the parts needed,I just need the driveshaft and jtr's header and air intake system. One more question for you guys,I need help on the dimensions for the booster.I tried to order and they list two different one's on parts stores.They have a 8 1/2 inches and a 10 inch.Wich would be the correct or how do I measure to find out? I have access to one for $1100 Just wanted to know if its a fair price.I think it would be better to have a costum one made. How long do you guys think an orinal dash would last in a garaged and if i use those sun protectors? I live in san jose but i do go to central cali sometimes and the sun is really hot over there. Thank's guy's! I have most of the bolt ons,I should make over 170whp.It will be @ around 12lbs of boost for everyday driving and it should see 15 or 16 when going to the track + Slick's.I think mid to low 13's should be right with this set up.I will have a dyno sheet right after the car is out of the shop. Engine came from a mercury capri Xr2,Its the same engine found in the Mazda 323gt/gtx. Its a 1.6 dhoc turbo charged, 132hp stock.

This project has taken a really long time to finish.Finally here is some major progress,I want to be having fun driving this car.It has been 11 month's since i took it to the shop.Hopefully it will be out soon!

My Brother and I, started removing some parts out the engine bay last night.We went to sleep close to 3 a.m. Woke up late and started removing the L28 out today. Below are some pictures of us working!

John's Car's, Inc.,Is the way to go for an lsx swap.(search on this and you will get a link to he's page), There is lots of info on this page. The sbc and the lsx motor mounts are different.

I had my chances to choose from 3 different built sbc blocks 383,402, and can't recall on the other one.If you biuld either of this,They can get expensive too.My uncle has many drag cars,From he's experience,I'll say an lsx engine is way more relaible than a old school sbc. It's not going to be a monster,A little over 400hp @ the rear,Hopefully! I went with the ls engine cause it gets you high hp and good gas milage. Most of my parts are on the way,I think this swap should be on the road sooner than we expected.Time went quik enough!
