I have started ordering my parts for the swap.Below is a list of the parts i have ordered. 1:Autometer-All Autolite's 200mph speedo,10rpm memory tach,oil pressure,water temp,and the 73 ohms empty-8/12 ohms full fuel gauge. 2:wilwood bigbrake kit from arizona z car. 3:John's Car Kit,On this one,I sent the order form yesterday. 4:set of mooser axels from modern motorsports. 5:mustache bar and a set of adapters from LS1240Z. 6:camaro oil pan,tray, and pick up. Today i will order a custom grind Camshaft - 228"/230" .576"/.595" 114LSA. I still need to order lots of things. My Z is going to be painted from the engine bay soon.After that its going to MAS280, So he can start on it.

I was going to buy a 74 260Z las week.It was listed on cl. My brother called the guy and asked is there was any rust. The guy said, "there was no rust." Just the usual cracket dash. I looked very nice on the pictures,He washed the car and quickly took pictures before drying it. Well we drove from San Jose to Manteca.About 1:15 each way and spent 3 minutes checking the POS.It was rusted from the bottom, and it was nasty on the inside.Turned back around and came home. I was hoping it had a bad engine,I have the whole drivetrain from my 77 280Z going out soon.So i wanted to use it on this car.Too Bad! I guess what i'm trying to say to check all cars very carefully.

I saw a 280z all original, even the wheels.Color was brown just like the one in my sig.I brought some memories of when my car was brown. This was in Automall pkwy in Fremont, CA

I've seen a black Z with the msa complete kit in the great mall(Milpitas).I think he might work at home depot,Cause i seen him on main street like 2 times before. I was having lunch today and i saw a white 240Z and a 76 to 78 2+2 280Z,And there is a parked brown 240Z.This is by washington and fremont blvd.,In fremont.

Actually your right, It is from a ZO6 Model. I got it off a similar size model.I can't recall on the correct size.

We are getting closer every day.My car should be painted from the engine bay in november.After that its going to MAS280 for the swap.I still need to buy lots of parts.In two weeks i should order the Johns Car Kit.I have filled the form out already.I orderes the axles from Tim.He will cantact me when he gets them. I think we are going with the fast tb, and a small cam.

Speaking of truck's,I have in my mind a cool swap,At least i think it would be cool.I think i'm going to do it sometime in life. Datsun 620 -Regular or king cab (not much of a diference in weight.I would like the king cab to go with a small sound system. Engine:SR20DET.With all the bolt ons. The only thing that worries me is the suspencion,But i think we could use 280z or othe datsun parts right? I love those little truck's ever since i was a kid!

I own a 2001 sentra s.e. with the sr20 so i go to some od those forums too. No problems with those guy yet,Maybe cause i don't post much in there.Hybridz its the best site ever! How close are you from downey? I go there often,Have lots of family member down there.So you might get to drive it or at least get a ride in it.I got a ride in LS1Z's car and i think i won;t ever forget.It runs Very nice. We have a festiva with the b6 swap, its from a mazda 323.It should go high 15's or low 16's on the 1/4 mile.Iknow its not fast but it does beat any civic with exhaust and filter.They run 19's stock so its very fun.and you are getting same gas milage.I will get around 35 to 38 depending on my driving behavier.With the swap i'm doing,Not bad at all.

^^^I try to go to the shop every friday to check what s new.I will be there tomorrow,Hope its almost done.The guy said 2 weeks,One week has gone by.Hopefully he has done lots of other things to the car.He was having issues fitting the radiator.You know its a small engine bay! I will tell you why.There is a website fordfestiva dot com.I has lots of info on this swap,But some of the guy there are not very friendly.My brother asked one of them for info and he denied to share any.I'm paying a profesional to do this swap and i don't want them getting ideas.If you want to do the swap later on i can give you all the info needed.And i could send you pictures as long as you don't post them on the internet.I have some of the engine/tranny mounts.I think i'm going to have to take some more this friday.

If i had that se-r,I would drop an sr20det with some mods. Its funny on how we own a car and we are always looking for something diferent.You won't spend $4k to make that sentra run at least low 13's. I have always wanted one of those to do this swap.

If i had any skills i would have been close to 3k on this swap.You could get a festiva even for free sometimes,I got the engine very cheap (got lucky). With no skills here i'm at around $5500 when i'm done.I think its not bad it should turn mid to low 13's with 100mph+.And believe it or not it handles great with a few mods.And it is a perfect sleeper.This car should be done soon maybe 2 or 3 weeks from now.I should have a dyno and a 1/4 right after its done. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/785928 Sergio

The ls2 has a drive by wire so its controlled by the ecu.This has to be deleted from the ecu at the time of the edit.

Well the only ppl you would confused are the ones the don't know the ls2,ls6 engine.I don't mine on either one as long as it work's. This weekend i started tearing all parts attached to the engine wall.I will take the l28 out soon!

The one from that thread is a drive by wire too. MAS280 fitted a fast tb,Fitting is not the problem. The problem would be making a cable type work, I talked to mike and he told it should work.So i sold my tb.If this was not to work all i have to do is buy another and buy the pedal assembly from a gto, corvette.

The oil pan is going to be replaced with one from a camaro. There are more issues, The throttle body is one of them.

I got rid of the GTO fuel rail covers.got $61 for them on e-bay, 1/3 of what i payed for my new corvette covers.Well they got here today, the color is victory red.I think it was the closest match to my red Z. Below are some picture of them! I have to modify the fuel line for the left side.and the dipstick had to be bent a little to fit them.Other than that everything line's up fine.
