I have a triple set up and was wondering if it is a good idea to run higher pressure up to the regulator to avoid vapor lock and other typical carb problems. Thanks!
I have an 80 L28 in my 260. I have not been able to hook up the tach as of yet ...because I cant figure it out. The distibutor is from the 80 zx. So I wanted to know if anyone else has run into this, and what direction is best to head in. Thanks
Oh yeah...Does anyone know how to test the tach?
where is the large ventilation tube that comes out of the drivers side of the engine block supposed to connect when you are running triple carbs? I have a vent on the valve cover outlet. Please help if you can. Thank you.
I am curious to see what knowledge is out there concerning garage paint booths(home made). I have done a few paint jobs so I am not completely oblivious, but I wanted to see what someone elses experience and wisdom may contain.
Hey guys thanks for all of your advice. I am going with the set up off e-bay (illuminas ) and some relatively mild springs. Couldnt pass the deal. It was worth it for the shocks alone. I can always buy coil overs in future. I am really getting my z in shape all over at the moment and not pushing the limits like some of you guys(no offense...your cars blow my mind).
uuuuhhhh....yeah. OK need to get better timing light, mark crank pulley up to 35-40, and hold at around 3000rpm to set? How does the timing light connect to the distributor? Sorry again...this is all totally new to me..
Sorry i was so vague...I have an L28 with the 280zx distributor in it. My coil is old. What type of coil would work best. I bypassed the ballast resistor , But mow I cant figure out how to connect my tach up. Can you help me out with this.
Jim
I hear what your saying about mixing linear and progressive, but why would Tokico make this a set? Has anyone ever had a set up like this? I dont get why they would sell it as a "package".
I want this car to ride more for street , but with a track capability of some respect...so do these spring rates seem acceptable? I just hope these springs dont raise my car much. Thanks for all the great advice...much appreciated and any more comments and advice/info is appreciated. I wish there were more Coloradoins here. No offense to Cali but it would be nice to physically point things out and test in reality.
