    HowlerMonkey,I haven't researched the rule book on this but I believe from the firewall forward we can do whatever we want in our class. Modiied Sports.

    Havent really thought about it with our car but I know some of the turbo bike speeds have been faster on the pavement.

    Howler Monkey, There are cars and bikes that run in Maine,Ohio,Texas and Mojave. with our car we just run at Bonneville. Maybe El Mirage or Mojave someday. Gary

    Thanks for the kind comments, I know the car will do 225mph+, we just have to do it 2 times in a row. course was very slippery this year. not only does your car have to be performing, the course needs to be good also. no excuses, everyone has to deal with it.

    broke on Sunday so we pulled the motor.

    well another not so good year 209mph and a burned piston, course was very slippery, although we didn't set any records and hurt our motor we still had a great time. Bonneville is a special place.

    we use a STROUD chute and haven't had a problem. I have pulled the chute in a spin and it helped get the car slowed down and straight. you can feel a tug in the belts when the chute blossoms but its no big deal. you will know if it blossoms or not. whoever you choose to purchase from make sure they know your application. drag chute = NO GOOD

    Bonneville 2012 was a dissappointment, 217mph was our top speed and we burned a hole in a piston. learned a few things, we will be back in 2013.
