  1. we run a Richmond -Nash 5 speed, We made the flywheel and adapter plate ourselves to bolt to chevy bell housing. I think there are companies that sell adapter plates to run the ECOTEC RWD.
  2. Widebody, In our class from the firewall foward we can do anything we want as far as shape and streamlining. We can even enclose the front wheels, which would be to our advantage. We chose to try to keep our car looking as much like a Z as we could.
  3. Been a good motor for us. fastest speed so far 224mph only using 3 cyl.
  4. At Bonneville you are better off adding weight than adding more angle to the rear spoiler. more angle of attack = more drag. more weight = more traction.
  5. Hi Armand, Wow it is a small world, I remember talking to you at Starbucks, We have never had a SR20DET motor in the car, Burningman might explain that.
  6. 3600 lbs, we are adding 500 more lbs for 09 Gary Cole DCWATEJET Z
  7. Hi Guys, The car ALWAYS runs with the full bodywork on the front. the picture that is posted we must have been going to tech inspection that is why the Moon discs are off. The car is powered by a turbocharged Chevy ECOTEC 4 cyl. (128 CI) I spun the car this year at 222mph, I really noticed it feeling light around 220mph. in 2006 my dad set a record at 221mph using only 3 cyl. We have plenty of power, The problem is getting it to hook up. We are adding another 500lbs of weight for 09 and I am hoping to go 225+ mph. There is a video on youtube of the car spinning. just do a search for DCWATERJET. Gary Cole DCWATERJET Z
  8. I stumbled upon this sight (google) looking for Z nose kits. Havent gone 240mph. but I think it is possible. Our car is NOT street legal by any means but it is a Z car.
