[Northstar update]

i would like to see you guys make a mid engine North Star powered honda civic hatch back. that would be awesome, and the honda guys would hate it

 

imagine it a 2 seat civic and it would be really fast just stock. ( the caddy does 14.9 in the 1/4 mile and the civic weights 1/2 as much)

[Shaving weight on a 280Z....]

you could also get a lightened flywheel, CF seats, door skins, fenders, hood, a header, lightweight wheels, and you could get rid of some of the extra bracing that the 280's got.

 

if you know how to do fiberglass stuff then carbon fiber work is easy. some fenders and door skins would be cool

[compatable turbos?]

i am planning on turboing my Z sometime in the next year or so. i want to run a bigger turbo but i dont want to spend $700 on one from motorsport.

i have seen the huge stock turbo an a regal type T and the intercooler is big too. would the turbo fit on the stock maifold without too much machining? what other turbos from other cars would fit?

if i primered it, wetsanded it smooth and had all the trim removed and holes filled how much would the price go down to?

instead of fiberglass door skins, what about carbon fiber? with a little extra bracing it would be much stronger then stock.

i loved that show last season and i never missed an episode. they ended the season with a cliffhanger and I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!!! i hope they (FOX) didnt cancel it

i saw some screen shots in PSM of the Fugi track. they compared some real pictures to the game and they looked 99% real.

 

since its gonna be online there can be races with all the Z's old rivals, were going to have to kick some Alfa butt

if i could vote i'd vote against the recall. you know that the republicans want to get one of their own into office. i know that our surplus of money is gone but he had to either pay for power over the summer. if he didnt pay for it we would have had LOTS of rolling blackouts, and if he did pay for the power then we would be spending tons of money beacuse the ppower companies screwed us. either way people would be pissed.

 

besides if you recall him then everytime someone is unhappy about the govenor they are gonna recall him. anyways his term is almost over, just let him finish his term

we were coming home and some idiot in a M3 was going like 70 on the suburban streets, he almost ran some guy in a corolla off the road went screeching around the corner... right in front of a police car. hehe, i guess hes not gonna be driving that m3 for a while

[I got a new rollbar, how the heck do I install it?]

i just did a fitment test, the rollbar brackets on the driver side are fine but the ones on the passenger side dont exactly fit flat with the wheel wells. is this ok or do I have to fix this?

i finally got my autopower race rollbar. i found out that the instructions werent very specific. my main question is about the backing plates. i know they go in the wheel wells but how to the bolts go through? does the flat part go under the car and the threaded part go through the bar floor bracket?

i got this car a while ago. it says "made in japan" on the bottom and has "FairladyZ" on the rear license plate so im pretty sure it was JDM. its got some KONI, STP, VALVOLINE, and GOODYEAR decals on it ( they are original stickers)

 

 

 

its in good shape and i think it is from the early 70's

yea sport compact car is great. i got a video off KAZZA of a 240Z with a supercharged corvette motor in it. in the video the car had so much power that it would change lanes by spinning the tires. i have another video with it racing a R1 bike and it beat it by a car length

i went on the tour during the motorsport Z show and got to go there, i even got pics of all those cars (like the 510, 300ZX race car, and a skyline that was in Sport Compact Car) that was back before the 350Z came out and we got to be the first people to actually get close to it, it was a 1 of a kinda hand made 350. (some people sat in it, but it was really expensive so i just took pictures, oh yeah it was a right hand drive too.)

alternative rock isnt bad; like linkin park, stuff like that. sometimes rap is good crusing music as long as you dont play it so loud that the speakers buzz, i always hate that.

if i had the money id get a 240 or 280 and put in a new skyline GTR motor and fix that up. then get a sequential tranny and some of those really expensive pillowball mount TEIN coilovers.

when u he gets it finished tell him to bring it some shows i would love to see it

[Turbo install: need help]

i just plan on leaving the turbo stock or with minimal mods. if i got all the stuff i need from a U-Pull-It lot do you think i could get it all for about $500 bucks?

so i just get the ECU, harnesses, and injectors? would it just be easier just to get a whole intake manifold w/fuel stuff from a turbo and bolt it together?
