  1. Yeah, the clutch collar was possibly different, and was 1/4" too short, it couldn't reach the pressure plate to give it enough pressure to release the clutch. We ghetto rigged it and used some stainless steel piping and made a spacer to go over the collar to extend the throw out bearing.
  2. I think i'm going to rip out my dash and redo some of the wiring for now. =(
  3. Right now I am using a Z32 N/A Clutch and PPlate and Fidanza RB20DET flywheel, so far so good!
  4. At least it sounds better than when I first cranked her to life! Oh yeah, the BOV is closed when I'm on the revs...sooooo?
  5. Yeah, even with my ceramic coated turbo manifold and twin 12" fans, my engine bay feels hot with everything on.
  6. I think this might help my running rich problems.
  7. Also if the motorset came with a VIN number, I can check Nissan Fast and maybe help you out and get a little info on that particular car.
  8. This is semi-related, but my clutch wouldnt engage. We took it out to realize the the clutch collar was different, it was .25" short. Apprently there are differences in the clutch collar in some of the RB25DET's. Instead of buying a new collar we made a spacer for the T/O bearing and it works fine now (just a little noisy). -Q
  9. Oh yeah, one more for the masses... http://gripjunkies.larrychendesign.com/misc/BOV.wmv
  10. Yeah, it's running, still not running right, but it'll be another week or 2 until I get her "better" http://gripjunkies.larrychendesign.com/misc/Rev.wmv
  11. http://gripjunkies.larrychendesign.com/misc/Start2.wmv This is the one that sounds better, you can hear a slight exhaust leak, but that has been since fixed, and I'm going to pick her up today.
  12. Come to think of it, I might need a regulator with this 255 Walbro I'm running.
  13. That thing is totally bitchen, I love the pipes the guy welded.
  14. I'll have some more photos later... but we'll see how this goes for now. (That's not rust on the piping, just residue from either my carb cleaner or something else). If you look closely, you can see the elbow on the smaller guy reach the wastegate all the way on top.
  15. Well, I would highly suggest you check the bolt pattern of the Z32 vs RB series. I think if you hold the flywheels up to each other, the holes don't line up. I believe both are 6 bolt, but have different spacing. OTHERWISE, if they were the same, then Fidanza would have the same part number for the RB and VG flywheels but they don't. However the clutch surface (240mm) is the same.
