The carbs are solex btw. but it doesn't matter

I have a 300SD. 1982. I just traded it for 600 bucks and an L24 rebuilt motor. Oh yeah, I know lot's about these cars. Just AIM me or quoc@livesockets.com. I'll be glad to help, as long as you can help me on my Z. I ran my 300SD for about 7 years, never had to do anything to the car except change the darn oil. Also, we have two W126 Diesel Chassis and about 2 cars in adition to that worth of parts, i'm in southern california. Our family has, 2 W126 Convertables, 1 W126 500SEL, 4 W126 300SD, and a 98 TURBO DIESEL E300.

Just a reply, it's freakin' insane to do a search with so many pages of forums to go through. Sometimes I search before and never come up with aynthing.

Can I match a F54 Block to an E31 Head on this?

Good idea, that's probably what i'll be doing. The Intake manifolds are the same I take it?

I have been puzzling myself over this topic for quite sometime. If anyone can tell me the advantages of each and what not that would help. L24 Motor E31 Head... (Stock 240Z) with Mikuni Intake Manifold and Triple Solex DCOE 40mm Carbs... or a N47 Head and F54 Block with the fuel injection?

So would AE-85 or AE-86 brakes work on the Z?

Bought the Carbs from the Ebay guy in Italy...good or bad idea? And the Mikuni intake manifold is from Wolfcreek. You're on top of this one... Also if you have AIM/AOL please message me. "Apt107xquoc"

I've got a 71 240Z. I want to do a nice brake upgrade in the front and rear. Maybe also with a 5 lug. What other nissan 5 lug configurations work? (Stock Nissan). Not to fond of 4lug to 5lug adapters or anything like that. I just want better wheel options and some nice stopping power. 240SX in front and rear? Help Please.

I need your opinions on this folks. I bought Triple Solex DCOE Carbs (40mm) and I was wondering what is your take on intake manifolds. I'm looking at a nice Mikuni Intake Manifold with Linkages for about 400 bucks right now. Good price? If so where can I find better prices or best setups for my future carb setup.
