  1. N1 pumps are made of glass, hit the limiter a few times and they shatter. Use a tomi or something like that. Its a very common thing to have happen if you use an n1 pump
  2. Alot of drag cars making in excess of 900 hp at the wheels use the stock throttle bodies so im not sure if this will be an issue at all
  3. So you don not have to skim the block bore and put them in ?? Ok sounds like a plan i am building an rb30dett and really only looking to run 15psi boost So slightly higher compression is what i am after for off boost driving
  4. yeah ok i should have six but it comes off as three Im using the stock rods and bolts as alot of people here in australia do and are making over 400hp at the rear wheels doing it , thats enough for me You cant buy arp rod bolts for rb30 rods but i believe you may be able to for the vg rods. Im not sure on that one
  5. if you use the n/a rb30 pistons you will end up at about 8.3:1 this is what i am doing The std rod bolts on an rb30 are bigger than arp 25 bolts so they will be fine the con-rods are massive so you will be fine there. Really all the bottom needs is a good honest rebuild and away you go.I am using the rb26 head as the triple throttle bodies are way cool and i like the solid lifters as well.
  6. Yes it is in. In Australia we call it hammer tone.
  7. Got my covers back from being powder coated. I'm very happy with the look, I don't want the motor looking too over done. I still have to do some cleaning on the intake manifold but it's getting there.
  8. Go for it see how you get on. You can make any gearbox last behind any engine as long as you are careful. Personally I would rather not be sitting on the side of the road with a box full of neutrals waiting on a two truck.
  9. The rb20 transmission will never survive with the rb25det , its the torque that destroys them.
  10. I would if i was you. The turbo engine will go alot harder and isnt not much more work / money to fit in than the 25de
  11. The head on the rb25de and the head on the rb25det are different. The port sizes are different , smaller on the rb25de Also the pistons are different as you would expect. I would get an rb25det and put n/a pistons in and drive it for a bit if you really want to go for an rb25de and not a det.
  12. Not fair huh? My engine cost me 10.50. Most people here get given them, but i wanted a series two block, its already drilled for the turbo lines.
  13. Yes it was the diesel patrol The sump cost me 150 and then just took me some time to modify it
  14. I'm sorry to have offended you . Please in future can you send me a pm so i can fix the problem instead of quoting me and thus putting me in a position where i am unable to fix the issue.
