  1. Something to keep in mind on the grinding..... The front caps take more grinding then the rear ones so don't fit one front one and do the other three at the same time. Fit and grind one cap at a time and your good to go.... LARRY
  2. Just ordered the flange yoke from them and the part is in stock and I will have mine in two days.... LARRY
  3. The center caps I used are MSA ones from this link...... http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=25-2059&Category_Code=WCC Only a little grinding is required on the CAP only...... I used a little liquid weld to insure they stay on. I read on ClassicZ that guys were hammering the spindle cover for the original caps to fit and I think they are nuts... Just to say it again the original caps will not fit...... LARRY
  4. Toyota 4x4 caliper upgrade has made a big difference in my brake system....R-230 swap in two weeks, then in JULY, 195 AFR heads and 25 shot of juice and a 6 point roll cage.... LARRY

  10. A mother and father took their 6 year old son to a nude beach. As the boy walked along the beach, he noticed that some of the ladies had boobs bigger than his mother's, and asked her why. She told her son, "The bigger they are the dumber the person is." The boy pleased with the answer, goes to play in the ocean but returns to tell his mother that many of the men have larger "units" than his dad. His mother replied, "The bigger they are the dumber the person is." Again satisfied with this answer, the boy returns to the ocean to play. Shortly after, the boy returned again. He promptly told his mother, "Daddy is talking to the dumbest girl on the beach and the longer he talks, the dumber he gets." LARRY
  11. The emblems are the result of a full moon and a wild hair... You can see better the larger caps with the Z emblem I had bought for my 72 240Z... LARRY
  12. Pictured is ASHLEY from CALIFORNIA STREET MACHINE, SUISUN CITY,CA with my car and it's "new shoes". This is at my engine builder's building showing my KONIG 15x7 rims with COOPER COBRA RADIAL G/T, 225-50-15. A few thoughts..... I originally ordered them thru MSA for $630 shipped. They are back ordered with a large list of buyers and could not give me a ship date so I cancelled the order and got them from TYLER......$545 shipped. http://classifieds.hybridz.org/showproduct.php?product=262&sort=1&cat=14&page=2 He does not supply the lug nuts but I got them at my tire shop...12x1.25m... Next problem was the front tires rubbed on the MSA type 3 air dam. A little cutting on the back lip fixed this. Then found out that the KONIG supplied tire caps don't fit over the front spindle cover but fit on the rear drums. I had a new set of caps and Z center emblems for my 72 240Z and tried them. Same problem but they are a bigger cap and with some grinding will fit. DAMN....... The rims are silver with polished lip and look great. I also noticed with the wider tire steering is much easier..... ..... LARRY

  16. [quote name=flashstang04 You misunderstand me... I was not saying that to be tacky or flame anyone' date=' BUT, it is true that someone wanting to know something will get little response if it is a common question. Believe me I know how it is... I am on a mustang board and have to answer all of the same questions over and over (gears, tires, best tuner, headers, etc), but I also understand that sometimes people don't know where to look. So if it does rub people the wrong way...sorry,this is a board to help people.... thats just the impression I have received after getting very few answers. And regardless of how "true" or not it is as a whole, that's what has happened to me. [/quote] Hmmmm.... You got my attention with your comments so I looked at your post history....... Your first post was in the Non-Tech Forum...... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=100578 I am sure that I am not the only one that did not even read that post. If you have an electrical problem, post it in the correct forum... http://forums.hybridz.org/forumdisplay.php?f=68 Second, there are very few 260Z owners on this site to answer such a broad question like what are the common problems with a 260Z!!!! It would seem that if you have had the experience of posting on the Mustang boards you would act and post accordingly on this one...... LARRY
  17. An old man was sitting on a bench at the mall. A teenager walked up to the bench and sat down. He had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, blue, and yellow. The old man just stared. Every time the teenager looked, the old man was staring at him. The teenager finally said sarcastically, "What's the matter old timer, never done anything wild in your life?" Without batting an eye, the old man replied, "Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock......I was just wondering if you were my son?" LARRY
