....All right..... I was all wet on my info so here is the correct info..... The 75 and 76 280Z manual and auto trans had a R-200 and the 77 and 78 280Z manual had a R-200 and the auto had a R-180. This is confimed by the Z guru CARL BECK.

Welcome to hot rodding..... In my case it's the old "weakest link" syndrom. The last break for me was the front diff. mount and we know where the next weak link is..........Now where did I put my R-230 set-up at??????

There was no 75-78 280Z'S built for the US market with an auto tranny/R-200. Any of these with a R-200 was swapped after the car was in the US.
