    LOL...His car is a 70 240Z and he should look at Fig#1 in my above posted link (I've changed my post) but it is still the same relay as a 72 240Z. LARRY

    LOL....It wasn't the terms, go to the fuel delivery forum and type in gas tank in the "search this forum" box. If you link the search results there is a timing issue that will not take you to the results if you link it in another post. LARRY

    I'll give you a start on your project as my Christmas present to you... On any question you have on your car ,go to the proper forum annd use our search function... Here's an example on this problem.     If it was me I would post your same info on this car on this site...http://www.classiczcars.com/index.php? Just remember that it is a classic car site so I'd leave any mention of modifying it out of your posting... They will go nuts about the condition and the price you paid for it.... Also mention the Vin number and Manf. date of it.... LARRY

    If that is the correct VIN number and it has a manufactured date of 1/70 your car is a very early produced and rare Z and you should register it on the site I had linked.... LARRY

    Step one ..Check your battery to make sure it has a charge, clean the battery posts, tighten the cables on those posts, and check the cable connections from the battery.... LARRY

    Here's my experience on that in CA. A few years ago I had to do the same thing you are doing. The DMV records only went back five years on Registration so if the car was last registered over five years ago there would be no record on file and you would only pay for the current year. If it was registered within the five year span you would need to pay the back years and current year fees. Also you would be getting a Dup. title not a lien title. LARRY

    Short answer... Go to your local DMV with your bill of sale and Lic plate number / vin number. Tell your story and they will tell you what to do . They deal with this type problem all the time... LARRY

    Here's my engine builders response..."24 volt starting systems are two 12 volt batteries connected in series...one battery is engauged on start only...It's like a high amp boost or jump starting a car everytime you start it...Big Blocks are sometimes hard to crank over...also I once tried to turn over, by hand, a 1471 Hampton Blower, like Don has, and could'nt do it..."
