Can i ask how much it cost and what is upgraded about it?

Can you post a picture of your air filter for me? I understand wherehow the routing for the intercooler piping is, but where do you place your filter and afm at?

I got one8-) 83 280zxt-5 speed-t tops-loaded 225 tires 10 psi via nsx boost controller no kitty cone filter

I have a question about the vacuum line that comes off of the wastegate into a y that leads to the turbo and somewhere. When I installed my boost controller, I put it in line with the wastegate vacuum line and the one that goes to the turbo. I then capped the other one off. So my question is, is the other one important? Should i Have not capped it off? thanks

I've recently ran into a power issue. I plugged my pop off valve and added a nxs manual boost controller set at 8 psi and cut my converter off to replace it with a straight pipe. All was well and it ran really strong. It would chirp the tires going into 2nd gear. Now, I cranked the boost up to 10 psi and it seems very slow. It wont chirp the tires anymore. Also when I started it the other day I was leaving walmarts parking lot, I pulled onto the road after starting it and floored it. The boost gauge went up but it stumbled on itself really bad and didnt go anywhere and ended up backfireing. It feels like its losing it top end power. Could it be leaning out now? And this is when the waste gate opens? So when i added my boost controller it does let the wastegate open correct? Sorry Im new to this .

Ok everyone the shim I tried didnt work. I went to home depot and got a 1 inch pipe plug. The shim was acting like it was just leaving the pop off open. So no more pop off valve for me. Bring on the mustangs.

thanks a ton guys i figured out how to get it apart without drilling it and shimmed it witha 1/8 inch washer. Hopefully thats enough

How big of a wrench do i use to get this thing off of there? My 12 in cresent still isnt big enough.

Hey guys, I know Im about to catch some crap about this. I need help with the pop off valve mod. I want to be able to run 10 psi but it opens at 8 or so. So what I need it a walk through on how to modify it. Ive searched this site and google, but I cant seem to find a way to fix it. Its talked about but no walkthrough. So flame away if you must, But I need my car faster and kind find anything. Thanks alot, Dustin

Sorry, I was in a hurry. Plus, you clearly could understand it right? I did alot or research, but I still cant find a wrench to fit that. Does anyone know what size it is? What kind of wrench was used?

ok guys thanks alot. I have it set at 8 cause of the pop off valve. I want to shim it. But i cant figure out how to get it off. I tried a huge cresent wrench but it was to thick to get it off. Any ideas guys? how fast can i go on 10 psi?

How is the passanger side fender? I can see it, but is it rust and dent free? Will it fit a 280zxt? how much shipped to 43760 if so?

why not try a new walbro 255 if you have a zxt car?

Ok thanks alotguys. I just bought a conquest intercooler for 25$ that was leak tested with 2.5 inch hard lines. Does anyone have a walkthrough for the install. i've searched

Thats what i thought at first, but then i was unsure because because of the hose barbs on it. Is a nxs boost controller any good? Also when i attach a intercooler to my car can i attach the air filter to the turbo some how? Im not sure how to do this without burning my filter. Thanks guys

Hello everyone, I recently bought a 83 280zxt and post here and got in trouble. But anyways my car came with a tonnnnnnn of parts. A bed load of extra parts. I found this item in a box and im not sure what it is. I think it is some sort of boost controller. If you know what this is can you help me out by telling me? Thanks alot, Dustin
