  1. I just went by the numbers on the coil pack itself, Maybe thats a general fire order and not the Z'eds :-/ Im using the relay board for the hook up, this is what i got from the DIY set up when i mounted my coil drivers Relay MS pin# A=S5 or Pin 36 B=S4 or Pin 31 C=S3 or Pin 29
  2. well, pluged some numbers in and still didnt get much success everytime it kicks some spark and loads the system the fuel pump starts cyclying again so i have to reload an old tune and turn the ignition off then on then start again... I know im close but a little frustrated do i need to turn on the outputs so coils A,B,C showing?
  3. Wow thats for the great info, ill be putting this in as soon as i get home I still need to post my coil set up i mounted it on i think its the old A/C condenser bottle mount right beside the engine I think i made my set up very close to yours so those numbers should fire her right up...."should" haha
  4. I cant open your zip do u have a screen shot of your settings? might get me in the right direction
  5. counter clockwise my missing tooth is 13 teeth from TDC I have 3 coils so i need an A,B,C or do i need all the way up to F for cylinders 1-6? If you could set me up id be a happy camper Do you know why my fuel pump relay would cycle on and off after not starting? its Odd Matt
  6. Here is the set up im using, am i missing something? Thanks Matt
  7. Here are some pics of my set up, and my car that needs some body work Ill get to that once i get the engine work sorted Matt
  8. cant adjust for that, tried before i left for hockey, can only get 45+90 135
  9. yes 3o-1 so i have 17 teeth between TDC and the sensor so thats 204deg?
  10. i have it all installed now, getting RPM signal but cant seam to get her to start it spits some spark out but sounds like the timing is waaaaayyy off I played with the trigger settings but cant find the right set up I mounted the Hall sensor in the same spot as the stock CAS would you guys mind sending me your trigger wheel setting Im glad this is not my daily driver but id like to make it my daily Im also getting an odd fault, after i try starting the car a few times the fuel pump starts to cycle on and off, like its being controlled by a turn signal haha once i load an old tune then turn off and on the car it goes away, but something new ive never had this is getting interesting, ill post some set up pics tonight i have to get ready for hockey Matt
  11. Just tried it, it gave some sparks but did not start up this gives me allot more confidence that my wiring of the coil drivers works....its doing something hahaha once its getting a proper signal from the 30-1 im going to make out of the stock CAS wheel it should be sweet
  12. thanks for the reply Metro I was going to give it a shot, I have my coils in and about to wire it into the relay board, I have not done the crank grind to turn it into the 30-1 yet, Kind of just wanted to see if i can get it to fire with the stock CAS before i grind it Ill be trying it shortly Matt
  13. Can i use the stock CAS to fire my coils? I am wiring it up right now and im going to shave the wheel and add the Hall sensor when im done wiring Id like to test to see if it work before there is no going back with the grinding wheel there must be a way to trigger it with the stock 81 cas Matt
  14. im not sure how this happened but i can only see % of temp on tunerstudio and not actual temp Ive looked through the settings but cant find the change.. anyone know this one? Thanks Matt
  15. i did the cal when i changed it the fact that the fault did not change even after i changed sensors lead me to believe it is the controller......I hope there is a reset i can do to get it working. Or they sel me one for very cheap haha fingers crossed.
  16. ill take one soon working on getting my wideband working before i rip around in it too much
  17. well, went through all my wiring, re hooked everything back up and it still reads fault 8 I opened logworks to see if i can see anything when i first key on the sensor shows that it is warming up, then it seams to work for a second then it goes back to error 8 could this be a controller problem and not the sensor it self, the sensor is brand new .... Im going to email innovative and see if there is anything i can do...
  18. Its not showing over heated anymore, It did when i first turned it on. Maybe it was just the code from my old one. It is allot further down the downpipe then my last one and that lasted until i over heated it by welding too close to it on my new downpipe My original set up lasted many years and it was about 6-8" from the turbo outlet My new set-up is maybe 2' away is there a better way to reset the LC-1 controller? Ive been hitting the little red button but it does not change the reading on TunerStudio Thanks Matt
  19. Hey guys Just got my turbo swap running and was having problems with my wideband. I over heated the original one and it was throwing out the code 8 "over heated" bought a new one and installed it today, i was looking forward to start tuning but the reading is the same. It shows about 8 for AFR on tunerstudio and doesnt really move I tried to change the settings around for the wideband being used on tunerstudio but that did not really change much. It was working before my turbo swap so im not really sure why its not working now. If there is nothing i can do from the software side that i may be over looking then ill re-wire the megasquirt, maybe its a wire or 2 thanks Matt
  20. Ill get some sounds on my next test drive
  21. Just found that as well thanks for the quick reply, just took it for a drive and she makes about 8 psi and the screamer pipe sound pretty sick! once I figure out my wideband O2 then ill put the 15psi spring in Its funny how i can go from completely gutted too super happy in just mear moments
  22. well, good news and bad news Good news is i got my exhaust complete and my car running with the new turbo. bad news is it makes 20 psi, maybe more because i let off the throttle. I have my waste gate hooked up to the top of the waste gate, its a tail external I have a 7lbs spring in it but its way beyond 7 psi... any tips? here are some pics
