  1. Hey also anyone have a good source for parts???? i need a rebuild kit or a complete brake master cylinder fora 260 z. anyone know if the 240 and 260 and 280 are interchangable?
  2. oh by the way its a late model 74 260 z >
  3. Backwards ???? No thats the way they are supposed to go on ;> hey i need some help from some of you long time z owners... i need to know what all teh relays and box things on teh right side of the engine compart are for and if i can get rid of considering ill be running the rb internally regulated alternator, I want to get rid of as much of the stock harness as possible. should only need the stuff for teh alternator starter and lights right? actually no that i think about it thats all there should be there. i want to get rid of the relays and boxes on the side of the engine compartment ;> thanks for the help

  5. hey what do you guys think of the rear overfenders on teh car . im thinking they look a little too big (rears)http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1278065&a=9465020&p=32569673 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1278065&a=9465020&p=32716399 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1278065&a=9465020&p=32716400 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1278065&a=9465020&p=32716402 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1278065&a=9465020&p=32716404 http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1278065&a=9465020&p=32716405
  6. I also thought that the 720cc inj would be too much but with sds you can get a really good idle out of them and i wont have to upgrade down the raod if i change turbos ;> If i hadnt seen it i still wouldnt believe it. a friend of mine ran 720 inj on a ca-18 silvia over here (1800 cc disp) running SDS and it started right up and drove on teh steet well ;> this setup with moderate booste levels should be in the 350-400 hp range (bone stock) with the inj upgrade and sds :> l8rz
  7. Hey guys teh rb-26 is in teh car now should be up and running in teh next couple of weeks...few quick specs...engine management is sds, 720cc injectors, tranny r-33 gts-t 5 spd, trust 2 core intercooler. plan on making a web sight if i ever get time l8rz [This message has been edited by stony (edited March 05, 2001).]

  9. hey howd did you put pictures in teh posts? ive got a couple of pics i can post
  10. Pete, they guy is japanese and not sure if he has a translator on his computer. i emailed him also as i have not seen alot of stuff on his car before. If you can get someone that read japanese i think alot of how he did stuff is on his page. OWEN, The RB swap into the old z 's and skylines is the biggest trend right now. The shop im going thru to do the swap says the sterring wont be a problem as long as i use a turbo maniifold that puts the turbo on top instead of the bottom. the stock turbos will fit fine. later clint
  11. i have lots of pics. give me a place to send them ill send pics of all kinds of skylines and rhd Z and the way the japanese like to set them up heres a URL of a guy on the mainland. i think this is where all japanese would like to have there z eventually. http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity/1147/FairladyZ/main.html the big trend here in japan is the rb25 and rb26 conversion. later stony

Scottie is your friend MAZ , from okinawa? if so tell him clint said Hi and i finally decided on rb-26 for my 260 should be done in a month. If he dosnt remember me tell him im the one that couldnt keep a damn rotary together ;> later clint
  13. It is a turbo so its gonna have some lag but with teh exhaust housing compressor housing combo itll wide up pretty good. I plan on running through a dyno in a month or 2 after its done and ill post teh numbers. 1100 HP with stock bottom end ..... i dont think so!!!!! they are only good to around 600 and thats pushing it. I dont know where you heard teh skyline were going with V-8 but it is not true. the japanese only do teh v-8 in there big boat cruser cars not performance anyways later guys stony
  14. Hey guys i live in japan and i am currently building a 260 z. I saw a couple of threads asking about the rb-26dett conversion. They do it all the time here in japan and im getting it done to my LHD US spec Z. im not using the stock turbos im going with a 62-1. For anyone who has seen the rb-26dett in action it is an amazing engine and although intial investment in the engine and installation is high you can get an easy 500 reliable HP on the stock bottom end without having a loud rumbling high HP v-8. (not saying that its bad ;>) later stony [This message has been edited by stony (edited October 23, 2000).]
