Hi, Can anyone can help me on this, my Z is running lean I have changed the TPS and the AFM but still runs lean. Sometimes when I keep unpluggin the CPU it will run fine till I shut down and restart again. It used to do it on my 280zxt before the motor swap but it went away now started again any ideas? FPR or fuel pump or is my brain no good? thanks

I came up with the differential of q45 2001 I know their are people that have swap this into Z's. My question is will this fit my Z and what needs to be modifieds thanks

kool thanks I guess I need some upgrades but that means a new motor, thinking of a stroker turbo but not sure about the $$$$$$ Yet and if its worth it because that means better drivetrain I currently dont have the r200 lsd or a strong tranny. Thanks anyways.

I just got a NPR intercooler 19x14 2 and some inches wide. I wanna install it on my 240z but do I need to upgrade turbo? or is stock fine whats the most i can boost? Thanks

Hi has anyone done a z31 non turbo ECU conversion to a 280zx turbo motor I heard the stock 280zxt harness connects to the z31 ECU. The only modifications are to switch some cables around it this truth? I looked at other posts buts it a Z31 turbo swap. Any information will help me alot thanks

Anyone please help I can't get my alternator to charge the battery on my 240z. This is the way I connected it, there are 3 wires the fat one from the alternator on the bolt goes directly to my battery +. The connector that has a medium and thin one, the medium one goes to bat + the thin one goes where? I tried puttin the thin wire on to positive, but still wont charge. I also tried puttin a bulb (thin) on positive and grounding it the bulb it stays on but wont charge please help. Or is my alternator no good? thanks

I am having problems wiring my 280zx turbo alternator to charge my battery on my 240z after the motor swap. I got the car runnig but the battery aint charging anyone have diagrams of how to hook up the turbo alternator? any help will be apriciated thanks.

Any way I can tell if i have a r200 from a 300zx if its a r200 does it have any numbers imprinted on it that can tell me where its from. I know it peels out with both tires evently but when i put it on a jack and rotate one wheel it doesnt rotate the same way so i think its not a R200 from a 300zx turbo. Any way i can tell what i go? Wanna reach 300hp at the crank but dependable i currently have a stock 280zx motor on my 71 240z without any modifications.

Need some help can I use the N/A fork and release bearing for the turbo set up or do I have to convert it to the turbo 5 speed stuff? thanks

This is what I actually know know fidanza says its 241mm and weights 10.5 lbs the distributor says its 240mm made for both 240z and turbo cars and the weight is exactly 10.5 lbs

I actualy called fidanza and they say that they do make it for the turbo 1981-1983 280zx but not sure if they know what they are talking about. I am gonna double check today.

The Holes in my crakshaft got stripped I guess the older owner tighten them too much. Am putting a new clutch form RPS 6 puck because the stock one slipps. Any idea how to fix The crankshaft? without taking the motor out?

I Have a Autometer Boost Guage to determine the boost Levels in PSI Could some vaccum line be hooked up wrong will that be a problem anyone have a diagram of the vaccum lines from a 1982 280zx turbo So I dont Boost At all But My Guage Shows Vaccum But No Boost could the computer be hooked up wrong or some sensor not working The Car starts and runs but no boost Thanks for your help

Today I Finished Up My 240z Turbo Conversion But I Took It for A Ride But The Car Did Not Boost It Doesn't go over 1psi Any Ideas Why? Did I hook Up something Wrong Its Running Stoich On My air Fuel gague, I also dont Have Any exhaust Only the Downpipe Is That Why It doest Boost I can Hear The Turbo it sounds Like normal But NO BOOST Could My AFM Be Backwards Or Leaks On vaccum Line From The Turbo? I also Can't hook up the alternator In Place Of The regulator From The Stock 240z. What Wires Hook Up To the Alternator? When I Start My Car And Take The Battery terminals Off IT Dies So Iguess Its Not Hooked Up Right Any help Will Help Me Lots Thanks Guys
