  1. A piller pods that fit s30's would make it more convenient to add more necessary gauges when turbo swapping, just as one example. I would love to see a single 2-1/16" gauge provision molded into the top half of the ignition/steering wheel plastic cover. A gauge provision for say a boost or air/fuel meter gauge that resides smack dab in the middle of the tach and speedo, but still allowing an unobstructed view of both. Lastly, there are currently no options other than used plastic replacement carpet deck caps, that reside behind the two seats and cover the top edge. Maybe a new option for that would be nice??

A Pillar gauges would be quite popular

Dash I wouldn't bother with unless its something new and unique - we already have complete dash caps

Interior body trim would be nice - esp CF... someone had the door panels done in CF and they looked really nice

Tail lights - I'm in the process of making up a set for my S130 similar to the G37. They look agressive - I'll probably do an LED brow along the top curve as well. Something like that would be pretty slick esp on a Hybrid S30 ;) The stock tail lights are the least appealing aspect of the S30 IMHO....

  2. I have the Arizona Z, rear end hanger. It is a beautiful piece. I have had no problems. I used Zoop Seal on all of my aluminum and it keeps things shinny for up to 3 yr. per application. This is not a permanent solution but if you want to keep the bare metal look, it is the best thing going. In three years, clean the part and wipe the ceramic liquid on again. Allow to dry and lightly buff. You wont even know it is there.

    310z,

Does zoop seal work on polished engine parts in higher heat, under hood environments, or is it only recomended for parts in cooler locations?

  3. Looking for a good 240z short pigtail fuse box {with no melted plastic around fuse clips please} good cover a plus this will be going on an 73 thanks phil

I have exactly what you are looking for from my 73'. I ended up getting the MSA upgrade and no longer have a need for my stock set up in great condition. PM me if you care to see some pics....

  4. I think its just datsun in general.. every thing grabs my attention.. b210's, trucks, but mostly z's.. like today bought a dash cap $98$ and a pair of 1 inch lug adapter/spacers $86.. went to the junk yard and got some interior parts $40.. i told myself not to buy any more unnecessary things.. ;)

I find details in many makes and many different years of makes that catch my eye, but with out a doubt the classic downward curve of a fastback holds my attention the most. I love s30's, late 60's mustang fastback, Weissman Gt's, Alpha Romeo 8C Competizione(drool), Porsche 911's, Aston Martin Vantage RS Concept, etc,etc... I also have a love for hot hatch backs as well as brick shaped cars too, Porsche 916, 510's, early bronco's, Audi Sport Quatro(Group B Monster)etc,etc.... I could ramble off makes of cars for hours so I will leave it at that....

  5. RovDriver,

Your interior has to be by far, the best and tidiest I have ever seen. The quality of workmanship is incredible. The dash and center console suede treatment have had me drooling in awe since you first made the pics visible for all. It certainly has become my motivation and goal for my interior, of course as always dependant upon budget.

Jasons flocking treatment is another well done approach. Hmmm, might be more financially dooable....

  6. So, I'm reading all of this and getting most of it, but still scratching my head as I don't know exactly what size option would fit my subtle z kit. As I stated, the subtle z offers 1.5" flare more than stock, and if I can recall correctly, the zg is 2.5" over stock. I have ground control/10" Hypercoils and am hoping for the widest rim to fit without having to really stretch a tire. I guess if worst comes to worst maybe I could (convince/compensate for time, energy) a local hybridz member to let me fit a 17"x9-13, and 17X8.5+4 to see in person.

  7. You the man Chris !! Way to see this thing through to the end. I will eventually place an order when I get my car project closer to that point. I however, will need to figure out if I can use the 9"-13's in the rear with coilovers, or if it will be 17"x8.5's fore and aft. I am going with the subtlez kit instead of the zg flares, only allowing me 1.5" flare at all corners. At any rate, hats off to you for making this possible....

  8. A completely new design would be great, if this does indeed materialize. As mentioned above in regards to size, it would be nice to incorporate the size and shape of the 1/4 windows so that a well proportioned sticker could be used. Just an idea for a design, maybe a slightly back/side view of the car looking down the side towards the front with some meaty big rear tires. Hope this happens...

  9. I ordered from them on two seperate occasions. First order for ARP headstuds for my l28et which I received in a very reasonable amount of time, and lastly a set of ARP rod bolts which also came very quickly as they should have given our close geographical locations. They were both priced rather low from what I could find at the time. I also read horror stories dealing with them and feel I must have been lucky and will quit ordering from them while I'm ahead. These were the only two items I needed, and felt as if they couldn't screw those orders up, thats just my two cents worth....

  10. After seing this earlier this afternoon, I contacted the one and only company utilizing this method in San Diego for more info. It was mentioned to me that they blast at around 125psi, if memory serves me correctly, sand blasting requires 90ish psi and not so good for thin s30 metal. I'm sure the dry ice gives more than sand, but thats some force behind it.
