  1. Good idea, if I angle the wings correctly I could get some extra downward pressure on the front wheels. Actually here's a pic of the hood ornament I made for my brother in law's Peterbilt
  2. Thanks guys, just to make the thread legitimate, here's a pic of it in front of my 76 Z
  3. Thanks Jimbob, here's a few more recent pics of the eagle. Up to about 200 feathers now, only 80 more to go. I may consider selling it, but keep in mind I have a crazy amount of hours into it.
  4. I remember elongation the holes where the hood mounts to the hinge to line mine up.
  5. I'd use a cutting wheel on a right angle grinder. Cut the head off and tap the remainder through the hole. A Dremel would work too but be a lot slower
  6. I shaved my drip rails and powder coated the rest of the chrome black. Here's a pic:
  7. e_racer your probably right, but there is a lack of other options as space is pretty tight. All of the aftermarket stuff is built to go over the rad also. I hope that having the rad fully encased in the shroud offers some sort of a buffer.
  8. Yes, it is a stock shroud. There is an electric "puller" fan on the back of the rad and a second "pusher" electric on the front, the car the optional cooling upgrade....that gives me the front fan. Shrouds would be the same upgraded or not.
  9. A little off topic, but here's a pic of an intake I made for my 87 vette. I used 2.5" exhaust pipe (a little heavy). Plan is to cut down the intake 2 tubes and put some K&N cone filters on then. I'll want to get more cold air into the area after that.....oh yeah, guess I need an engine too.
  10. That's cool. I made these a few years ago. The 63 Ferrari 250 GTO body was built using a full size version called a trellis. The body guys would hammer out the panels and check the fit against it. Here's a link to a pic http://www.barchetta.cc/ALL.Ferraris/events-stories/events/2003/coppa-intereuropa/galleria-ferrari/dsc-7053.html My versions, Datsun Z and a Countach
