  1. Scotty, Sorry to go back to the same subject... I think the best way to find out what's the characteristics of your turbo is to call a turbo shop.

I've done a lot of reading on this forum when I researching what turbo to go with. A few people told me to go to Majestic Turbo (majesticturbo.com) and ask for Kevin. I was told he is familiar with the turbo setups with Nissan so I got my turbo from him.

The turbo Kevin recommended to me is .57 trim stage III .63 a/r Matt has the same turbo configuration on his Z31 and is making 357hp/421tq at rear wheel on only 16lbs of boost. http://www.hybridz.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=20;t=000002 looks like the picture of the dyno results are gone :(

My turbo didn't need a spacer

  2. I was emailing a person in Japan for some stuff I wanted to buy. A few emails later I asked about the local drags there, here's his reply....

"Its in my garage here in japan, but it only takes about 4-5days to get it to

the west coast. Cool cars..yeah. At the local drags if you dont have 400-500hp you dont stand a chance. And then theres the 700-800hp street

driven GT-R's(race GT-R's are anywhere from 900-1200hp). And if you have a

    honda.....forget about it."

    Damm that's crazy!

  3. I went to the ebay link and it does say compressor A/R = .7 I don't know if he's talking about the housing only or both wheel and housing. You can use a .7 or .70 housing with a smaller wheel. With a .48 on the hotside, that's not big so I think you'll have very little lag but think boost will drop off at higher RPM.

Scotty... I was taking about the spacer and not the turbo. Let me know if you want to try it? BTW it's 1" thick.

So no lag huh. Yes having a T3 help out a lot because most of the lag comes from the hotside of the turbo. .70 trim (cold side) sounds a little big to have NO lag. Will have to wait for Scotty's results.

OMG that's huge. Your going to have a lot of Lag. I'm assuming about an 1" I can have you try mine and if it works you can buy it off of me for the amount I paid for it.
  6. They are a direct fit, look just like the stock one's. I would get the 74 just incase because I heard there where two versions of the injectors on the 75. The other won't fit.

BTW they are only $44.95 at carparts.com and $7 to ship, no tax. If you do a search on Carparts.com coupons on a search engine, you will find a coupon code for 10% off. I just bought some last week for $40 a piece.

  7. It's a straight bolt on unit depending on where you mount it. It's smaller than the 280zxT pump. I have mine next to the gas tank and had to use 90 degree bends comming out of the pump on both side, I like better that way so it sits why up. I'm not sure where your mounting it but it shouldn't be a problem. I would mount it in the same place where your current bosch one's are.

  8. Hey Arif,

I got my high pressure 255lph external pump from http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ It's only $140 shipped and will support over 500hp. Currenly I'm using the stock fuel lines on the 240Z. With the fpr pressure turn down to the lowest setting I'm still getting 80 psi on the fuel rail. Currently I'm waiting for my fuel lines to come in. The current return line can't handle the fuel pump. I bought a 190lhp intank pump for my eclipse for only $83 shipped

This place is the cheapest place I've found for intank and external. 2thumbs.gif
