Good find on the link. That's a lot of intercoolers he researched. I have the smaller Isuzu NPR diesel, 24" x 8.5" x 2.25" 2.5" I/O

Just incase it does show up on your post, here's the picture
Nice....

Pete I had the same opinion, until I did research on them, the electronic boost controllers is better in controlling boost creeps. Some manual boost controller are known to give boost creeps.
Smackz...
I don't know about now but back when the EVC came out with there fuzzy logic boost controller, I knew people who had it on there twin turbo RX7 & 300zxTT and didn't like it and switch back to the regular HKS EVC. Fuzzy logic does sound good on the instruction book
I have a EVC IV.

I like it loud but not 120db loud. Sodp... I agree on the price, big difference. If I had a choice I'd pic the HKS. What I do like about the Blitz over the HKS is you can put the filter to quiet it down and you can change the spring for a bigger turbo.
Oh did I forget to mention I like the way V8's sound with a turbo
Sean here's the pics without the filter.
BTW my buddy Jon (Jumbo240z) did the welding on the pipes and bov mount

Thanks Stony... When I get home I'll copy the picture and post it with the pictured displayed.

Thanks for the update

I really like that color. Very good choice. I feel in love with Eleanor the first time I saw her

Not all BOV are the same... HKS SSBOV, Apexi and blitz dual drive works different. For example the HKS SSBOV has a dual chamber, one for low boost and the other for higher boost. This helps the turbo from spooling down better than the regular BOV and has better control in pressure leaks through the bov.
I loved the way they sound and don't mind if it's loud. I'd rather hear the BOV going PSSSST down my neighborhood then a V8 rumbling my house and a import that sounds like tin cans. For some reason hearing a turbo and bov impresses me more then how a NA V8 sounds.
BTW I have a Blitz Dual Drive and can change my springs if I go with a big turbo. I can put a filter to quite down the sound.

Try http://strictlyz.com/ I'm pretty sure Kyle can them.

I'm not sure if your talking about my rims or the rims Nemeziz posted. If your talking about Nemeziz wheels then I believe those are www.fikse.com Fikse are very nice looking rims and very expensive. They are custom wheels and you don't need adapters, they make them to your specs.

Hey Scott I can post the picture for you. I tried using angelfire.com and I got the same results. Only worked for the first 5 mins. before it turns into a angelfire banner.
Well here's my pic... try not to throw darts at it

Thanks for the update Ross. That would mostly like work but I think it would be to close inside the fender then I want. I want a spacer that will put the rim more towards the edge of the fender but still have enough clearance so the tire doesn't rub on the fender. The tire is flush with the with the rim lip.
Maybe a 2" - 2 1/4" spacer needed?

Hey Lone... The one I have is pictured below. It shouldn't be loud with normal driving becaue of the turbo. The length is 21" and the size is 4 1/2 " So what do think, to long? Scottie said it might be to long or a really tight fit.

Originally posted by DavyZ:Ron, I'm pretty sure that Ross Corrigan has the correct adapters for your car. Now, these fit an Accord, not a Civic right? Do you know the distance between the holes, like 4-1/2" or close to that? That will help. AFAIK, the backspacing should be standard Honda, no biggie--I know Ross has adapters for that, but its the bolt pattern that I'm curious about--is it in fact different from the Civic, or is it the same?Davy
Hey Davy... Yes it's 6.25" (6-1/4") is what I measured. I still have no idea what mm spacer I need. Yes it's for a Accord, actually prelude... still the same bolt pattern 4 X 4.50 (4 X 114.3). Btw I did tell Ross my back spacing measurements a couple of days ago.

I copied this link on another forum. Tells you how stuff work like.... cams, turbo, rotor engines, horse pwr, fuel injection, etc etc etc....

Damm I bought one the other day brandnew $50 shipped. I guess I have to go sell it. Anyone want to suggest a good 3" straight through muffler in the standard position?
Sorry Scottie about not starting my own post on this. The positive side is everyone can see the different choices. The subject line drew me in thinking it was for the stock location.
-
Hello... Can someone please help me find the correct adapter size so I can put my rims on. Please let me know if this is enough information.... 7.5 width and the back spacing measurement is 6.25"
Thanks in Advance

How about this muffler...6" wide, 3" inlet/outlet and 21" long. Summit part # is WLK17223 and only $59.95 (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=search.asp%3FType%3Dbysummitpart%26Part%3DWLK17223%26Search.x%3D1%26SearchType%3DBoth) I haven't tried it but have been look into it to buy.
Do you think this will a good fit on the 240z's?
-
Hey Zthang43, Please add me to your list for your tool. Thank You...
-
Hi Mike... Any advantage in doing the swap?
Thanks,
Ron

Those are some nice looking rims. The simmons most likely will have our offset meaning you may not need adapters. I was also looking at some Volk rims but a different style. My problem is those rims are expensive for me =(.
Although Konig has the rims I have retailed at $368.XX a piece with no tires, I've seen them for $1600 with tires. I got mine for $925 delivered to my house.
-
Jason I'll keep that in mind. You'll be the first to know.
-
Glad everyone likes them so far, thanks again for the nice compliments. Lets me know I've picked the right wheels.
Z Ya... my rims are only 18 x 7.5 and 215 35 18's pretty sure I won't need the coil overs (hopefully). Btw the MSA part # for the front spoiler is #50-1401.
Check out this BOV

Yes and that's a great price. The buy it now price is a good price also. I would buy it. You have to buy the mounting flange, I had to do the same with mine. I bought my Blitz for $150 shipped without the flange. Summit had my mounting flange, the price was good also.
