FOUND THE PROBLEM! Damn shock was blown! It was barely 1 year old and it already blew!! What can lead to that? Im hoping thats not the quality of tokico. Well anyways im going to go order a new one tomorrow morning...

how hard is it to rebuild? I have seen the garrett rebuild kits on ebay but i dont want to spend that 70 bucks and realize that i really cant fix my turbo

is it safe to get those turbos on ebay? How do u know they arent cheapo?

i remmeber seeing a website for those turbos on hybridz I dont remember where? Can i use my stock actuator and wastegate with a t3/t4?

do i just send my turbo out to get upgraded? Where do i do that?

i have had the car for a year and a half. The hop that i am experiencing is under a turn the car takes small hops rather than just sliding. Also when i brake and hit like a small bump or pot hole and the car, i guess looses traction, and it sometimes hops to a stop. These hops are rather violent than little baby hops. I replaced all my suspension parts last decemeber.

When i take a hard turn the rear of my car hops? I dont know why? My friend with an s13 said that his did that and got solid rear subframe spacers. I have a 79 280zx, even if i wanted to whip my tail out at a turn it hops rather than slides any advice guys?> i have tociko struts and springs energy suspension bushings suspension techniques sway bars front strut bar

Is there a shop that can rebuild my stock t3? There is a lot of shaft play or anyone in the bay area that could do it for me if i get all the parts and payed someone?! thanx in advance darrell

Are there fuel pumps from other cars i can use for my turbo build? Im going to the junkyards tomorrow and was wondering if i could try using a fuel pump from another car?

hey guys i know this is an old topic but i had a question... I just installed my 6al on my 280zx and im using the tach adapter and everything and my tach needle jumps also. Now you guys said to check the wire connected to the tach. Well why would the tach wire go bad allof a sudden when installing an msd? Well anyways what other solution have you guys come up wiht?

can i just use cvs from a turbo 280zx? or at least a 280zx wtih cvs? Do i ahve to change anything else? I have no idea what they are called so i guess the rear hubs? Well do the r200 halfshafts plug into the rear hubs of r180 that uses joint axles? or do the hubs have to be swapped also?

what do i need to swap my r180 to a r200 on my 280zx?

HEY I KNOW THIS IS AND OLD TOPIC Has anyone ordered pistons through summit and has a part number?

THIS IS VERY IRRITATING. I can find help anywhere! I call victoria british and asked for forged pistons and some lady asked if they were a brand!!! Then i said they were for an l28 engine and she said that dont have anything for that engine!!! ONLY Z CARS!!! WOW INTELLEGENCE AT ITS FINEST. Then i called MSA NO HELP THERE. These guys wouldnt help me at all!!! the dont have performance pistons, forged pistons, or anything. But the do have oem replacements. I am irritated.... Then i read on the forums of people buying their pistons from summit. Gave them a call!!! no help!!! THEY DONT CARRY IMPORT PRODUCTS?!!??! WTF? THEN WATS IN THEIR CATALOGS? IM GOING TO DIE All i am looking for are some forged pistons for my turbo setup. Im looking for a good price, lowest preferably. But it seems everyone is against me! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With an intercooler setup where does the afm hook up to? Sorry im rebuilding my first engine and still getting familiar with a turbo setup. Been doing about 3-4 hours of reading online not to metion all the magazines and books. Im a bit confused as to where the afm hooks up...sorry thanks guys Darrell
