  1. Yea a light 240z with a Turbo, dual over head cam 26+ PSI, etc. against a FULL 280z NA, yea I wouldnt bet on me at all. I will take a bet against your car though 280zone.
  2. I see an 11 sec pass coming if thats the case, make it a full run, because they will kick you off of the track if you break into the 11's, without a roll cage.
  3. It is all tig welded. If I get MS back by thrusday, I should be in good shape. Are you racing the 7m car?
  4. I hope to Drag it on friday at Firebird, and race at the auto x event on sunday. That is If I get MS squared away. And 280zone, It will run, it will run right past your small block car, let alone your midnight car.
  5. Here it is, all finished and on the silver car. MS had some problems that I am still working out so I cant drive it for a while. I did start it with my finger controlling the AFM and the other and on the throttle, and you cant even belive how it sounds, is feels like all of the air around you is being sucked in the motor, it is purely incredible. I am so glad I did this project. How do you guys think it looks?
  6. Yea like MACK said, the head will yeild a higer compression of about 8.8-1, but you loose ALL quench and will prone to detonation.
  7. It should be all on my website. http://www.bandmzcars.com Thanks for the replies, I really need to see how much interest is in these, to see if I should pursue the Idea of L series porting for others or not.
  8. Well Turbobluestreak, you obviosly havent ever flow tested these L series heads. The linered heads flow EXACTLY the same as the square port heads. I have perfomed these test many times on all L series heads. You must have your words backwards as well because the P90/P79 Lowers compression when compared to other heads but Increases Quench. Belive me, and I can get a linered head to flow about 138 at 25 " at .55" of lift.
  9. You DO NOT need a P90 head, that is just something that most think. Any head would work, espeacially if you are going to be using dished top pistons. P90 does absolutly nothing on a P90, you loose ALL of the quench. Best bet for econimy is to use a P79 with flat tops at about 10 PSI. Square ports flow EXACTLY the same as round ports stock for stock.
  10. So if any one is interested in me porting a head for them, just email me.
  11. Here is the graphs of my flow bench work on a P90 head. The first line represents a stock port then from there is two different grinds.
  12. Well here are the graphs of my heads. I hope to get about 250 out the crank with stock bore and stroke. SHould be able to do it I hope.
  13. What do you guys think of it so far?
  14. I dont belive that the turbo rods are "Thicker", they are also the same length as all of the other L28 rods.
  15. Here is the progress pictures of my custom intake manifold that I am building. I have got the injector mounts welded in now but they are not shown. You can veiw more pics of this and other projects at http://www.bandmzcars.com
  16. Well on my own flow bench I have got 141 cfm at 25" of water on the exhaust, and on the intakes I have 204 CFM at 25" of water, and these numbers are at .500" of lift. THe head was the first thing I did. What are the numbers on that head you have pictures?
  17. No, I am not good enough in math to figure that out, it may not be optimum, but should sure help my motor.
  18. Here is a picture of my intake in progress that I am making for my NA 280. It is just a test fit on a parts car of mine.
  19. I had got mine from venolia, custom dimensions, for the reason that I am using the LD28 crank and 280 rods.
  20. I am curios to see if anyone is running MS in AZ. I might need some assistance if need be, I am installing this weekend and might need aditional help.
