oh man, i cant wait to get a 1jz into my 240. I like my stroker setup but you cant get the reliable power of a 1jz. Great build btw!!!!!

I have a 73 240Z and i am looking to put a 1JZ VVTI into it. If you have a complete motor and manual trans i would love to buy it off of you. I am in arizona and would prefere something close by. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a set of ITB's for my stroker project. I have duel SU carb's right now and i cant get the power out of them that i am looking for. I dont want to spend 2k on the extrudabody ITB's if i dont have to. I am open to other forms of intakes so just pm me with what you have and maybe we can work somthing out. I also have a ton of extra parts so if you want to take some stuff for trade let me know i might have it. Thanks, Ben

I agree with donovan, make sure it can drive down the road before you worry too much about a running motor. That being said, i have a stroker mototr and i love it, but make sure you are willing to spend the money! It is a lot more expensive than a L28ET that you can find for a few hundred. As far as the stroker crank, you dont have to order one from japan just find a ld28 crank. Nissan maxima had a diesel motor and the crank from that works perfectly.

I have 2 extra 89mm pistons for a KA motor that i used in my stroker build. I have no problem parting with them since i have no use for them. I had to buy 2 sets of 4 because the KA is only 4 cyl. My loss could be your gain, also i may have some l24 rods lying around. Message me if you are interested in anything. -Ben

I am aware that there is no stock engine management system, but most people on here are running MS. I believe an in car PC would work well with that, and probably set it up to show what ever your dont have a guage for (ie. water temp). It would also work as a head unit and add a ton of character to the car IMO.

I was just curious if anyone has seen a in car PC in 240,260 or 280z? I have seen them in other cars and love they way they work. Work with the engine management system, see and erase SES and CEL codes, play music and movies, use connection with phone to surf internet/stream music. Maybe has anyone even seen a double din settup in a s130 that looks good. What do you guys think?

Great build! Your Z is coming along quickly and is beautiful. I wasnt planning on doing a build thread like this but after reading through yours i think that someone else will enjoy seeing my build as much as i have enjoyed yours. Cant wait for the next post!

i dont know, im in Kuwait right now for work and i have to say i dont think it would be easy to find an LS1 out here.........and if moudi is as rich as everyone else in Kuwait im pretty sure that the cost of shipping out here is minimal. damn near everyone here lives in a mansion!

wow looks really good and i cant wait to do that to mine....i cant wait to get back home and start building mine..... i would love to go with azc but some of their items are a lil out of my price range like 8k for coilovers and diskbreak upgrade..... i love them but that would set my project back a lil to far lol.
