  1. Remember when we first discuss this issue? well, now I understand what you were saying. different mounting points, yours should be more simple, mine I have to do the same process for the mounts plus cutting and grinding down the mounting points. did I explaing that right? btw, very clean mounts, I like them. what I was saying, regarding the plates, you can make thicker and avoind the whole washers deal...; )
  2. Did you solved the problem with the plates, I noticed in your web (good job btw) that it wasn't thick enough.
  3. Jamie, Z master you are the greatest. the last two post is the very truth. with that been said I think we are doing very good. we already know people that make great mounts for a quarter of Mckinney's price, the tranny mount we already know what the deal is, if their is not way that one can't overcome this, it means that you are not ready for a swap of this magnitude, again you can always ask for help to others that do have the skill. I'm out for today.
  4. I agree to that also... I will give them a call.
  5. I can believe this. once again I don't like their product, cheap quality and overpriced. please let's stop hammering the same rock. it is odvious that they are clueless about the GT-S/Z or GT-R/Z. "only mount they made" maybe the mount, but not the mounting points, easy to explain, but they are like that they like to make you feel stupid. we should request a fabrication from the other out there that are familiar with the Z and that can do good quality fabrication. Speedthatguard Rick wong the shop in australia? i forgot their name / the build the awesome plenum. I mean I seen awesome people in this site and that's why I keep coming here and checking the site for new ideas or products update.
  6. you have to get a momo to nardi adapter.
  7. post pictures of the strut bar please. is it a triangle bar?
  8. man! having Rick out there with the best mounts I've ever seen, awesome product. I would never buy the Mckinney's kit for that price, it is crazy. If anyone needs excellent mounts PM: skyline240z. No regrets. Obviously I don't like Mckinney's work. sorry!
  9. Looking for a nardi personal hub adapter. 260Z 1974 / luisi steering wheel any websites or store would help.
  10. yeah! Venus was closed for two weeks. He always goes home once a year. That's where I'm getting my RB25DET from. HOw much was the geo Engine?
  11. same thing, same as in the 240SX, skyline... you name it... that why I like nissan.
  12. SSR Mesh (Super Speed Racing). where to get it JAPAN, takumiproject.com, or who knows...
  13. like is said I would check on Japan on my next flight there.
  14. yOU ARE THE MAN... I would save it also... good one! thanks again... another question, do you know if the N/a intake manifold is the same as the TT. the Jdm one is all right to left deal... jdm go figure..
  15. Hello everyone, My friend From WA just drop his 300ZX in my garage for me to do his swap after his timing belt went down to hell damaging the valve and pistons. I bought a JDM VG30DETT set up, meaning: tranny, wires, ECU, and some of the piping, his car is a VG30DE. I'm taking the engine out today and the TT is ready to be swap. I would post PIcs as soon as my wife comes back from vacation with the camera. What I need from anyone is the Vacuumm hoses diagram for the VG30DETT. If anyone has a format please post. Thank you all ahead of time.
  16. So, how do we get a hold of these mounts... they are live savers...
  17. I red into it very interesting what you guys can do... I was refering to Dry sump. I saw this back in the island and I recently saw again in a Ae86 corolla, but this is out of the case, this may not be the solution to the problem, plus the set up is pricey. Hey, 240Z turbo, how much for the oil pan?
  18. regarding to the fact that the oil sump needs to be extended and may fail, have anyone intalled a dry oil sump "i think that's how is call in english", but yo u know is it oil pan less basically and is drive by the a individual oil pump and it can be pass through a oil cooler, plus a relocation kit... In my next trip to Yokota I would look into it, I'm just worry about the oil tank... expensive set up, but really good for highly moded engine. please inform...
  19. I don't know about this, the are too pricy, good definetly, but they think they are the only one in the business and I think there are better places that can almost fabricate anything at a much better price... like my radiator I went to a hot rod shop and told them what I want, they did it for 400.00 bucks, straight mount just like the original and it is beautiful.
