  2. I have the stock sending unit, I haven't measure the ohms, but I'm very sure is the same as yours. thanks for the website ... I guess i need to work the gauge intead of the sender. a resistor or something...
  3. Congrats man... nice... I still in hold with mine, I have the same rust problem, but I found a shop to do chemical blasting on the car, fix the rusted sections and paint it... I need to get home and finish that thing .... again nice car, enjoy...
  4. second to that, they just change the valve cover because the red looks better. Ussually people abused the black top more, because the came in newer s13 and they were used for drifting, but not a very actual fact. try to get auto block, the TPS needs to be from a 5-speed block and there you have it, a less abuse engine, less red-lining...
  5. My problem is a whole new thing. I'm planning on using a 240sx cluster with speedo and tach calibrated to work with my engine and the temp gauge will work also. the only gauge left out is the fuel guage and this is the ohm measurements 240 Ohms Empty, 33 Ohms Full. Where can we rebuilt our sending unit and get it calibrated at the same time?
  6. Bro, you should wait on the mount. CRS has the whole kit for around 300 bucks shipped to your house. good luck in you swap and all the info you need is here. read a lot before taking a step.

  10. oh well, 2 years ago this guy gave me a rusty 1974 260z, because he wanted it out of his parking space. Then I built a nice RB25DET for it and a bunch of cool parts, but I found it very rusty during the process, so I'm ancher right now. at the end of the month it will be going through micro-mineral blasting, bodywork, and a midnight blue paint job, then I can keep going with the project. wish me luck...lol.. By the way I need a 260z or early 280z fuel tank. anybody?

I just finished a 2+2 TT, RPS cluth + flywheel, fujitsubu catback, specialty z downpipes, z1 testpipes, jim wolf air filter, new belts, new pumps, nismo radiator, full tune up, and simple work...... it's my a friend's/customer, which disspeared on me when a left to iraq, now I'm back and I'm working on the bugs of the beast. from my first experience; the car is awesome and definetly one needs to be familiar with the vehicle in order to do things right, very interesting to work on, but not the people's choice kind of car. I love the car, but at times, while working on it, I hated it... two weeks ago I got in contact with the guy and turns out that he not longer wants the car, so I going to sale it for $5,500.00 or name your price, he owes me so much money for labor and parts, that we will call it even. If guys know anyone please P.M. you'll be helping me out a lot, because I have my own toy project under contruction. please check out my gallery... thanks a lot.

  15. Keep it up brother, you'll be alright. I guess we all hit the bottom that make you wish that one never started the project, but then you find the answer and keep building. I'm in the same situation, for the last year I've been; low in funds, military deployments and finding a descent place to work the body and paint it for me, I'm close this time, very close ...

  18. Wow!!! I really hate this Z problem . This rust tray dicease is holding my whole project down. I could be driving months ago, but not. I've been trying to get a shop to do it for me and they are either smoking illicit drugs or want me to tow it to their shop. I'm just going to end up visiting home depot and buying a mig welder, try and error my dad always says.
  19. he wants to see the car before an estimate. I explai the whole thing needs to be reweld just to get a estimate and even then I couldn't get a price. I Just don't want to tow the car for an estimate.

  22. Tell about it. I worked in a body shop for two year, I never got to do welding, my biggest regreat right now... I only need a rusty area to be cut and replace. this is holding me back big time.
  23. I need a sacramento or solano county referal. I need body work on my 260z due to the under battery tray metal cancel, that's a new one . I check some local place and they wanted 2k for the fix. go figure. so I'll appreciae all inputs. thank you in advanced.

  25. BROTHER!!! You just made my day... I have read just half of the thread and I found some of my problems...... I swap a vg30de to vg30dett, I'm using the N/a harness and turbo ecu, of course. I guess the car won't start because of pin 44 and 54, good thing.
