I can see you are already a fine young man!
Take care of your Mom!
Well the woman in my life is my mom but what makes me different from you guys is that I'm fifteen and she said as long as I keep my grades up and she's gonna help me anyway she can to finish my Z car. What a loving mom. LOL -
Will be on jack stands for the most part.
If it doesnt fall apart while going up on those stands! Seriously, Ive seen it happen!

That car is a nightmare. Run away, unless you have a welder and tons of spare time and love nothing more than patching panels and doing body work.
Agreed!!! Run for the hills!!
That 280 is nothing but a parts car. After you cut out the rust....thats all you will have.
Putting her together will cost alot of time and more importantly...MONEY. Money that can be used to buy a better platform to start from.
Continue shopping and keep this car in mind for parts.

Looks like a winner, well done!
I need to get of my ars and complete my gauges. Im struggling between a set of Stewrt Warner or fit the RB cluster gauges into the stock pods. ARGHHHHH!

In Canada we say ZED as well.....LOL...but Im guilty of using both....
I drive a 240 ZEE
Look at that ZED
What's a "Zed"? I'm not seeing that model in the Datsun/Nissan line in the States. Was it European only? -
Oh ya! but what are they and where do I find them? OEM?
Over all thought, still like the s30 look.Jerry, those tires would look bad*ss on the Z though
-
Congrats on both accounts...after 20 years it just gets better, 23 for me!
And did you know..behind every Perfect Wife is an Obedient Husband........
Enjoy your 20th and give my best to the better half!

Ive traveled all through the states and cant say Ive come across this one .....Sounds yummy Not common up here in Canada......!
Canucks eat well but are a bit sheltered....no pulled pork, no boiled peanuts...no craklin.....grits...nor biscuits & gravy. Not even a whole lot of Mexican food...mind you I think a bit over rated in many parts of the US.
Will have to keep an eye out for spicy jam!

I luv those wheels!
Just and observation is all. Seemed to be that the Skyline then was inferior to the Z, while today it seems to have changed.

What kind of look are you seeking. Any pics to go by?
I like this one.... in fact the whole care is nice, probably the best Z31 Ive ever seen.

I installed acura integra weather strips (94-2001 integs) in my Z. My doors close fine, just fyi if you can't find the KIA type. -
Any pics?
1998 - 2003 Cavalier 2 door weatherstrips work very nicely. About $45.00 ea at you local Chevy dealer. -
Am I the only one that had to google "mordored" ??
Certainly not....I did as well.
Old school ideas on a new canvas...remember the days when.....

Simply amazing! Who would have thought a more or less stock RB can propel a S30 to those times. The muscle car guys would kill for those times!
Congrats.
Lets see the Vid!

?? I was thinking the same thing......Is it in fact welded all the way around?
Original Poster... How did you manage to weld around the entire bar where the A-pillar bar meets the roof hoop? I looks very tight in there. Looks like it could only be welded all the way around if the roof were removed. Actually, it looks to be that situation in a lot of the corners of the cage. It looks like a very nice cage though, very pretty.
Trying to match original to autometer gauges

I was thinking more on top of the steering cover.....Like you said small and bright but in the middle.
