  1. BTW, a good place to mount little teeny LED's is on the steering shaft housing cover, below the key. It's easily visible when driving, easy to get to, and does not disrupt the "original" lines too much. I've got my high-beam indicator, as well as 2 others as telltales for my cooling fans.

I was thinking more on top of the steering cover.....Like you said small and bright but in the middle.

  2. I can see you are already a fine young man!

    Take care of your Mom!

Well the woman in my life is my mom but what makes me different from you guys is that I'm fifteen and she said as long as I keep my grades up and she's gonna help me anyway she can to finish my Z car. What a loving mom. LOL
  3. That car is a nightmare. Run away, unless you have a welder and tons of spare time and love nothing more than patching panels and doing body work.

    Agreed!!! Run for the hills!!

That 280 is nothing but a parts car. After you cut out the rust....thats all you will have.

Putting her together will cost alot of time and more importantly...MONEY. Money that can be used to buy a better platform to start from.

Continue shopping and keep this car in mind for parts.

  4. In Canada we say ZED as well.....LOL...but Im guilty of using both....

    I drive a 240 ZEE

    Look at that ZED

What's a "Zed"? I'm not seeing that model in the Datsun/Nissan line in the States. Was it European only?
  5. Congrats on both accounts...after 20 years it just gets better, 23 for me!

And did you know..behind every Perfect Wife is an Obedient Husband........

Enjoy your 20th and give my best to the better half!:mparty:

  6. Ive traveled all through the states and cant say Ive come across this one .....Sounds yummy :icon45: Not common up here in Canada......!

Canucks eat well but are a bit sheltered....no pulled pork, no boiled peanuts...no craklin.....grits...nor biscuits & gravy. Not even a whole lot of Mexican food...mind you I think a bit over rated in many parts of the US.

Will have to keep an eye out for spicy jam!

  7. ?? I was thinking the same thing......Is it in fact welded all the way around?

Original Poster... How did you manage to weld around the entire bar where the A-pillar bar meets the roof hoop? I looks very tight in there. Looks like it could only be welded all the way around if the roof were removed. Actually, it looks to be that situation in a lot of the corners of the cage. It looks like a very nice cage though, very pretty.
