Hello all, 1st post on this forum Picked up myself a 1976 280z and looking at getting new wheels and tires. Decided on Rota Grids V, 16x8 with 0 offset for the fronts and 16x9 for the rears. Slightly lowered but otherwise stock suspension at the moment... I've searched and 16x8 with 0 offset clears rears and barely fronts (strut side). So apparently rears have more room between inner wheel edge and the strut, would I be able to get away with 16x9 with 0 offset, or I have to run -15 Offset? Prefer to go with 0 offset wheel so I don't have to massage wheel arches much. Any help will be much appreciated, have a wonderful day! Thanks, Paul Found it, for anyone else looking for this - YES, 16x9 with 0 offset will fit 280z rear (with stock struts) Post by m1ghtymaxXx in the attachment below has an answer! Will 15x9 -10 wheels fit 280z - The Tool Shed - HybridZ.mht

For anybody tired of using the clunky websites to calculate new versus old tire sizes, widths, and heights, I found this handy Excel Spreadsheet. The grey boxes are all drop downs. It allows you to compare two new tire/wheel combinations to an existing setup and shows what the differences will be in inches for height/diameter/radius. The difference for the backside and frontside of the new wheels is in millimeters and inches +/-. https://www.dropbox.com/s/76fr1golryz6wtt/Tire-Wheel%20Calculator.xls?dl=0

hey guys I currently have a stock 76 280Z and i was wondering if it would be possible to get 16x9 with a 15 offset on without the use of flares ( not a huge fan of flares ) im pretty sure i would need to get my fender rolled but i still need some more knowledge on this. If i could fit them what about tire sizes and etc ? Also i may lower the car with eibach springs in the next couple of months will i still be good without the flares then ? thank you for any help

I have been trying to learn the dang offsets for the different size wheels and widths for these s30's and cant seem to get rid of the headaches i get from trying to figure this all out. At first I thought the more negative you go, the further out it sticks, then a friend told me i was backwards, and now I have given up. I have zg flares on the way to the house, wont be installing them until I get rims and coilovers installed. I want to go ahead and get wheels now because one of my rims has a little dent in the edge causing a tiny little leak which makes me put air in the tire about every two weeks. But ANYWAYS, i hate stance, I love big lips on these s30s and I want a 255 on a 9 inch wide wheel. I want the widest footprint I can get, obviously for good handling, but little to no camber in the rear (about 1-2 degree max in rear and 2-3 degree max in the front). What offset do you guys think would be best? i can get some spacers to dial it in perfect when I get the wheel but 16x9's with zg flares with little to no extra camber...? attached pictures are of the stance i like
