Tim Teeter
I have a 1978 Black Pearl 280z that I want to do a complete build project. Theh body is very good shape and has very little rust if any. I want it to be a complete restore project utilizing modern parts where appropriate to make it a modern daily driver. I haven't locked on the motor swap but prefer staying Nissan and turbo so am thinking the VG30DETT. What I'm looking for is a local shop or mechanic who has done this type of project before and wants to take on the project. I'm looking to start this project mid-September. I would prefer the shop to be in the DFW metroplex but am willing to put it on a trailer and take it to whomever will do the job right. BLOZ UP
Alamo Autosports is the best place I know of. But it would sit there forever because they are busy. The DE is a tight fit on the sides. Get a TB48 and make eleventy billion horsepowers.
Chemicalblue
Alamo Autosports would be a great choice, of course if your a member of the Cowtown Z Club you will get a discount. Tommy
Dice T
This thread is awesome. I live in DFW as well and need to find a shop.
BLOZ UP
I may have exaggerated on the "forever" part.

If its the same the body and car look awesome. -Pat
