DeLorean
I'm debating selling my RB-Rs for some grid Vs, but I can't actually find any good images of them on S30s. I've found plenty of TE37Vs, but they are offered in a whole bunch of great sizes, the Rotas...aren't. Just hoping someone knows of an image with them on an S30, maybe even with 225 50s..? DeLorean
Guess we'll find out soon heh, I just ordered a set.
turbeau
I'm sure they will look great. But I need to confirm with some pics. What color did you get? Bronze on white looks soooo good. Size and tire size too.
DeLorean
I went for the bronze 15x8 0et, I totally agree haha, you almost can't go wrong with a white car and bronze wheels. For tires I went yokohama AVS 225 50 15, if the group buy ever happens for the 15x9s I'll go that route, but for now I'm playing it safe. I ordered it yesterday, tires will be here today probably and wheels by the end of next week. As soon as it all gets mounted, I'll be sure to throw some images in this thread. The car is in the shop getting de-rusted and painted, I literally cannot wait to see it "reborn" again haha.

DeLorean
That is some good news, congrats on the wheels. Can't wait to see these on a Z. What color did you go for?
yhlz
Bronze was all they had. I've always liked bronze on TE37s anyways. They look great on these knock offs. Edited August 28, 2011 by yhlz
503Alex
Can wait until you mount them! I'll be ordering mine very soon. I've decided on Royal Gunmental.
yhlz
It's a work in progress. Getting tires on in as soon as I log off.
DeLorean
Nice, do you have stock wheel studs on the car? I put extended studs on my Z for the RB-Rs, hoping I won't have any issues...
yhlz
I just put the stock lugs to hold it real quick. I've got tuner lugs i will be putting on later. I am hoping i wont have to buy extended studs. Where did you purchase your extended studs?
DeLorean
Autozone haha, they're actually right off a Nissan Quest, if you end up needing the part number I can get it for you, pretty straight forward swap but still a pain... yhlz
Here's an update. Looks better than I thought. It needs a major drop though.
DeLorean
They look great, what tires are you running?
yhlz
I was planning to run 225 50's but they had to order them. They had 205 50's in stock so I took those instead. Kumho AST I believe. The 205's will do for now and the tire to rim ratio looks great.
DeLorean
Nice, I'm a little nervous my suspension will be a little high riding too haha. I'm on tokico springs and struts...guess I'll just wait and see. Those wheels look seriously good though.
yhlz
DeLorean, trust me. The pictures do it no justice. The wheel finish looks much much better in person. I actually don't mind the height too much. In person, it looks good already. Maybe a 1 or 2 inch drop could help but other than that, the wheels really surprised me. turbeau
Looks good man. Can you take some pics down the side to see how much they poke out? I want to see these with 225/50s next. Delorean?
yhlz
Turbeau, 225's might poke just a little from the rim. With the 205's, the tire sits pretty flush on the rims.
